A solid 7.5/10 for this 25 year old chef! EXCELLENT spice blend and flavors. Just a bit greasy but it happens. My husband said the crab cakes were nice too. But for me the Caribbean Power bowl had perfect amount of cabbage, too many black beans, incredible tofu! Crazy huge, sweet potato flavor was great just a bit overcooked. This place seems new and I really think it will go places once they relax and hone in the clear skills! Keep it up!

My fiancee and I ate at Bayside Bistro this afternoon and I was absolutely blown away, everything was made to order and from scratch all the way down to their sodas. We had Mac and Cheese bits, falafel and hummus, fish and chips and the Meaty Beach sandwich. I can’t remember the last time I ate somewhere where I was blown away by every single item I was served, this place delivered on that promise. The food tasted like a hug on a plate, I couldn’t recommend this enough.

Having only been here a 1-2 times I can say that I may not have tried everything on the menu, but everything I have tried has been phenomenal! I love the freshness and the options for healthier eating. I can definitely see this venue become very popular in the future as they expand and grow as a business. They also provided popcorn for our college president’s inauguration block party and it was one of the memorable things from that day lol.

Love this place, I enjoy stopping in when I’m in town. Their old fashioned sodas are to die for! I love the strawberry one. Nice to have a place I can go, I have wheat/dairy/egg allergies and they are very accommodating! Couldn’t help but take a few bites before I took the picture.

Disappointing! I really wanted to love it. We had frequented the Davenport location and had been wanting to try the RI location. The menu has changed, but not for the better. I was looking forward to a salad that we used to get there, but no salads at all now? We tried the Boudin Balls. Terrible; dry and super salty. We also had the Mediterranean bowl. We were charged for the larger bowl but boy, it was small! It was pretty tasty except for all the mayo (aioli). Was really looking forward to the soup of the day and the desert but were told they were out. Wow. We had to go somewhere else to eat after that. Cost: $28 for 4 bad boudin balls and a small med bowl only. Pretty pricey. I took photos of the grubby, sticky catsup bottle and the way the server threw the silverware on the table.

This was our second time there and if anything, the food was even better! The flavors are deep, complex and layered, a lot like Thai food. It has enough kick to give your lips a slight burn, but it doesn’t overwhelm the flavor. A little on the pricey side if you’re used to McDonald’s or something, but it is definitely worth the price.
