Sorry it’s a big NOPE from me. Service was not great, food was disgusting. They need to look at the menus and present it the way it’s described. Chips and queso was chips and velveta cheese. My RC sandwich was not served as described at all!! Was supposed to be thin sliced ribeye, this was basically a beef fajita slapped on a hogie bun then drowned in melted Velveeta cheese. The onion rings served with it were cold. I can’t, it was disgusting. Service was absolutely horrible. Geesh….y’all really need to get it together.

Due to you cant add a new review, ill add to my old one. we had a lady come over to us an stated we need to treat the waitress better or we wont be welcomed back. My husband an i didnt talk bad to the waitress. An neither did my children. she left an came back threw boxes on our table an our receipt an walked away. They scratched out the person that was at the reg and the waitress name so that we couldnt see it. After we paid out i asked the girl at the booth that seat people, what the name was of our waitress, and she (our waitress) stated that they dont want her to give it to us . Well if its not ment for us to see, it wouldnt be on the receipt. Megan walked up an said why do you need her name to write a bad review? Thats what review are for to express your experience.

The atmosphere here is nice ! It gave cozy vibes . I had the cheese quesadilla with added on items and it was an 8/10 ! Definitely not bad . The root bear here is amazing . It was such a nice soft drink! I’ve had root bear in NY and PA and this place has the BEST root bear . The queso here is fantastic . It’s homemade and whoever made it ? Oh they made it with their heart ! Their whole heart ! Not even half . My husband enjoyed his “ hair on the dog “ burger . I know the name sound weird but my husband teared that burger down like no other. True man vibes ya know. When you go ask for Fundy ! The servers are friendly and great but if you Fundy as your server and bartender ? You are in good hands like Allstate .

After driving for 8 hours, we wanted a good meal. Jack’s is decorated very nicely, we never got to try the food. We were told we would have a 20 minute wait. After 10 minutes the girl at the desk says, “I don’t know how to turn this thing on.” (Meaning the buzzer disk) my husband walks up and hands it to her and tells her that his wife is in the bathroom. I come out at that moment. We wait as she is gathering the menus and silverware, then she seats the guy who just walked in the door. We wait for her to come back. She doesn’t. The other young lady working the desk comes back. She takes care of a party of 4 who just came in the door. She tells them it’s a twenty minute wait and gives them a buzzer. She then turns to us and says, “your the two waiting for a table?” We say, “yes”. She’s says, “your table is no longer available”. I said, “oh, she gave our table to the other guy.” She just looked at me. She was going to put us back on the list and give us another buzzer. We said, “No”. When we were out the door I told my husband I’d rather eat fast food than be treated like that.

Third trip there. I keep giving it one more chance. It’s hard to come back from a complete rebuild due to a fire. The service is good. The food, not so much. This time the gravy on my CFS was more like paste. And cold. Last time there was very lityle cheese and no chicken in my chicken quesadilla. I’ve just about given up. Sad in a town where there are very few restaurant choices to begin with.

They had a lot of Chefs mics as chef Ramsay’s calls them. Chef microwaves. Fries were so cold that I could taste the frozen in them. The burger was a joke. Mcdonalds $1 is bigger and tastes better than jacks burger. All their food is frozen. I used to go to jacks since 2016 until it got burned down. Reopen is a joke. Food is like prison food. I think prison food is better. Why are cactus jacks using frozen food? Ain’t no grill. The only grill is the microwave. Jacks has gone downhill. It’s so loud in there. My head was hurting. I miss the old country-style. Now it’s trying to be Refz. Cactus food is all frozen food that’s heated in the microwave. All the food has no taste at all! I have been a casual customer since 2016. I am going somewhere else. The bar I’d just a regular bar. Nothing special. Why so many tvs? Stop hitting the bell. It’s annoying. Cactus jacks are not the same. It’s just a low-budget Rip off Wannabe Refz. Go to Refz. Foods are better, and it’s more peaceful there. I will say this. I have been going there since the best waitress was there. MAMA D. Bring her back and make her a manager. She will get that place where it was. Best waitress ever in the world. She always made sure my beer was cold and food was cooked perfectly. They didn’t even ask how I wanted my burger cooked. They just cooked it their way . MAMA D made Cactus jacks. After she left. Cactus went to hell. Mama D made Cactus what we used to love going there all the time.

Without a doubt the best restaurant in town. Service is almost always great. Food always comes out quick and delicious, if you’re understanding of how busy they always are at least. Management is kind and compensating, TVs always cover the big games, and the environment is just great. No reason to hesitate giving this place a shot.
