We’ve been here a couple times. Food is usually great. This night the food took an hour for 2 burgers. The burgers were ordered medium, but came out well done. There were 2 waitresses busting their tails off trying to keep everyone taken care of and one that kept standing at one table just chatting. We did mention this waitress issue to our waitress. Hopefully something will be mentioned to the one slack waitress. We will go back, and hopefully it be better.

Food was very good. The atmosphere was nice. However, we wanted a second round of drinks but it appeared the bigger tables take priority over the two person booths and the waitress never came back after delivering the food.

I eat here frequently and the food is good American chow. Today they had a bone in pork chop special. I was a little hesitant as I usually do their burgers and fries but man was I surprised. It was a thick and tender pork chop and deeeelishus! The wife had a Carolina burger. We also had their fried mushroom slices and they were tasty as always (although a tad too salty today). You just can’t go wrong here.

Slowest service I’ve ever experienced. Waitress didn’t know the menu, food took awhile to get out to us. The check out was painfully slow. The only plus; the food and tea was good. Don’t be in a hurry here.

My wife ordered two cheeseburgers, lettuce, tomato and onion, and one with mayonnaise. The other one not, the one without mayonnaise, had only a burger and cheese on a bun, called to let them know about the mistake. They acted totally ignorant, and ignored the fact, and said they would report to manager with her name? Typical Ashe county, no education at all when it comes to food services, needless to say we will not be eating there in future.

Great selection of beer, food was cooked perfect.Make a spicy kentucky bourbon wing sauce, they mixed mine and it was amazing. Lemon cake is outstanding. Chevy Chevelle all day!!!

We went tonight. Sat down at 5:50 pm and didn’t have anyone take our order until 6 pm. Then ordered and waited for 45 minutes. When food came out my son’s burger wasn’t even with our order and never was made. We paid for our drinks and left.
