Went for Dinner on a Friday night the pictures of the food on there social media looked good and in person they didn’t disappoint worth the drive worth the wait best pizza I have had in a long long time will definitely return service was awesome as well even when they were busy the waitress was on point!

Heard about this place from some other foodies and figured we’d drive the hour and a half to judge for ourselves. Upon arrival, I must admit I was taken aback at how small the establishment was, and the crowd seemed a little more rowdy than we expected at first, but it was all in good fun. We were promptly greeted by the waitress upon seating ourselves, and she was very helpful in helping us with our choices for dinner. The shaved prime rib sandwich was phenomenal, and the house chips were really good. We also had an appetizer of creamy cheese curds and would strongly recommend them to anyone who loves cheese curds. My only complaint would be that of the beer selection and how cold it was. Like the spotted cow, but I really like it off the tap better than the bottle. I would strongly recommend that if you should be in Argyle, WI, and would like a quick bite and a brew, stop in, you won’t be disappointed !!

Typical hometown bar. I would feel comfortable bringing my kids here to eat the food and service were above and beyond despite being extremely busy. We will definitely be back. The best thing was the cheese curds. The cheeses stayed in an the outside was light an crispy best I have ever had.

What an awesome neighborhood bar! One of the best burgers I’ve had. The fried string-beans and half-nekkid curds are to die for. Seriously, their food is so yummy, we ate there twice when we were only in town for a few days. Friendly folks, great food!

Excellent food, service and drinks. We had a burger with homemade chips, shaved prime rib sandwich with fries and cheese curds as appetizer. All great…brandy old fashion was very good also. Prices are fair and not over inflated. Will be back. Small hometown bar, felt welcome, good ratings are justified.
