Stopped in for a nice bite. I didn’t realize Tuesday was pizza night. It was a good pizza cooked in a wood fire oven. Price reflects a place that’s a little more upscale. Was good pizza.

We went on a Tuesday and we were lucky enough to get a seat at the bar. We found out that reservation are a must for this place. Even on a Tuesday, OAK got busy. The hostest was nice and allowed us to get a bar seat.

Hanovers Slice of heaven has arrived! It just keeps getting better! The flavor profiles used in each craft cocktail is well thought out and compliments the menu. Service is attentive and atmosphere is upbeat and friendly. Restaurant is clean and easy to navigate. Excited to see and taste all new menu items!

A big city high end restaurant in a small town. When you walk through the doors of Oak you’re transported to a place of out of this world food, drinks that rival NYC’s top bars and service that can’t be beat. The picture you see is Halibut in Crazy Water and let me tell you, it’s one of the best pieces of fish I have ever eaten. The bartenders are some of the best in the, imo, region. Pricing is a bit higher than the norm in the area but on par with the level of food and service you get. If you’re ever in Hanover this is a must stop, but be sure to make reservations or you likely won’t get in.

Second time here and both times were a great experience. The mixed drinks are very good and well worth the price. The food is also great. You have to get a pizza they are awesome. Our new date spot. Make sure to make reservations especially on the weekend.

Their custom drinks are very good however don’t ask them to make something off menu even if it’s simple. I ordered a Russian mule yesterday and either they didn’t use enough club soda or it was flat. It was also $12…. ouch. Food was good but we had to Google everything on the menu because apparently we’re not worldly enough to understand the ingredients. I also ordered a lobster ravioli. It was like $25… It was good, but not $25 good.

Even though the wait on food was long it definitely was worth the wait!!!! The food was excellent. Yes the prices are high but you get what you pay for which is top notch artisan foods. Congratulations on the new place

Must visit if you live in the Hanover area or are visiting. The atmosphere is great. The wood fired pizza is amazing. The cocktail experience is what you’d expect in a big city high-end lounge with custom exotic drinks made from unique, rare spirits and homemade syrups. The staff were all friendly and engaging. I don’t know if “nightlife” and “downtown Hanover” have ever been uttered in the same sentence, but Oak caps a new trio of unique food and drink establishments all within walking distance I highly recommend it!

I hate that i cant give partial stars. Artisans & Oak deserves 4.75 stars IMHO. These folks do pizza really well. If you want a light chewy crust with a crispy exterior topped with a fresh tomatoey sauce that isnt too sweet nor too unsweet sprinkled with plenty of good quality cheese all lovingly bathed with the gentle smokiness of a wood fired oven…and who in their right mind wouldnt want these things…then please go here. And thats just the regular pizza. Lots of other high quality toppings and variations. Local folks making great pizza.
