It was one of my first time in a Japanese restaurant and it did NOT disappoint ! The staff are great , the food is absolutely amazing , I got to try the chicken and the meat , rice is amazing and I am not a fan of vegetables but they were quite alright. place is clean and spacious and the chefs are VERY skillful and nice. Overall highly recommended! We also tried their HUGE drinks , also was awesome !

Delicious sushi that was also served in a rather artful way. The ambience and inside is decorated in a simple and elegant manner. Service was very quick and staff were friendly even when it seemed pretty busy. Looking forward to returning here the next time I’m in Brookline!

We went for Dine Out Boston. The food was tasty, but the service left a bit to desire. I ordered the tuna dumpling, filet mignon and lobster tail. The tuna dumpling was appropriately sized and came with a savory sauce pairing. The filet and lobster was well cooked and the chef put on a great show. The mochi dessert was quite ordinary. My friend’s appetizer didnt come until half through the entrees and my drink didnt come until after the appetizers even though the rest of the table was served. Overall a great experience with a couple of hiccups.

Came here for a small birthday dinner, sat at a regular table (as opposed to the hibachi tables, but hibachi can be ordered at the tables too). The staff was lovely and polite and the food was, oh my gosh, so good. Sides were well sized for the prices. Hibachi salmon was to die for. Extensive and reasonably priced drink menu.

Came here the other night with my mom and son. My mom ordered the NY steak plate I had a bite and it was a bit fatty, I had the shrimp it was and and my son had the kids chicken plate. Sad they don’t serve salad but it was a great experience for my 3 year old.

I attended a Paint Night event at Osaka then dined in the restaurant after the event ended. They have a great selection of drinks for a Japanese restaurant. The sushi and sashimi is delicious. They also did a very good job accommodating my allergies. I will definitely come back next time I want Japanese food in Brookline!

Standard hibachi grill experience. they cook their food in front of you, and there is a lot of it. It was tasty, and well done. It tends to be a bit of a show, and not a standard dining experience, in case you’ve never been to a hibachi grill. If traveling, it is fun to take teens and younger, so consider this place if you are visiting Boston with kids.

I don’t think the prices were worth it. The filet mignon was good and the lobster was fine but there was a lot of sauce and the vegetables tasted rubbery.
