First off bomb chicken. Second Andy the server was so friendly and helpful. She even asked us how it was. We got the half and half. Perfect fried goodness. Just what I have been looking for. Great spices and the chicken is still tender and juicy.

The disappointment was a bit much. I’ve heard good things about the chain in Korea, so I was so happy that it was finally coming to Lynnwood. When I first ordered takeout when they opened, it was OK, but not what I was expecting. Korean fried chicken really should be crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It was kind of crispy on the outside.. but on the hard-chewy side and dry as Sahara desert on the inside. I thought it must have been a one-off thing. Man.. the second time I ordered it, it was like they fried old chicken in old fryer. Super dry.

New owner alert!! Finally, a new owner took over here. I actually went back after reading someone’s review that the owner is different now.

The service was quick, there wasn’t that long of a wait, about 10 -15 minutes. I ordered the half & half (#8) whole which was $27.99 (without tax/ tip). I wouldn’t say it was that pricey in comparison to other places, but the pieces given were unproportional to a “whole chicken”. At first glance it looked like a lot, they’re supposed to give you 20 pieces. It felt as though it was 75% skin and bones and 25% meat. Some pieces didn’t even have meat on them, just fried bones of the chicken. If almost 6 pieces are bony scraps, why order the whole for 20 pieces.

Rose tteokbokki was ok, not super spectacular, and definitely not worth $14-15. I paid extra for cheese and wish there were more cheese. There was a lot more sauce than the rice cakes. I counted maybe 14 rice cakes total.

Will not eat from here again. First of all, service was bleh. Then they were out of alot of options. And the $20 for 8 pieces of chicken 3 were basically ribcage of the chicken cut into three pieces with scant meat on them. Weird after taste to the sauce.

This is NOT Korean Fried Chicken (hereafter KFC) you would want to have. It’s simply isn’t anything remotely close the amazing KFC you would want to have anytime of the day, everyday. Individual pieces are smaller than any chicken dish you would have, breading is too generic with no flavor, seasoning/sauce is completely bland and lacks depth of Korean flavor with no usage of garlic, ginger, etc. It simply tastes like ketchup-dipped and corn syrup dipped mediocre fried chicken. You are much better off by going to the Buffalo Wild Wings and get average-quality wings with Asian Zinc sauce. Save your money and go elsewhere, your beer will be wasted when paired with their chicken.

It’s a new place since my last visit to H-Mart food court areas. I noticed a few other vendors no longer there, eg: thai food and korean chicken soup.
