The food was so spicy and delicious. I ordered the joloff rice a and stew lee veggies and plantains. The downside is i ordered from here a year ago and the portion size have went down yet the prices are higher. Good food either way.

Delicious and such flavorful food. The depth of flavor was amazing. Order a head of time with the food truck. Staff very nice. Vegan options. 100% halal. Got the jollof rice meal and the spinach & kale fufu meal. Plantains were so yummy.

I had 5 small pieces of goat, I also had a problem with the hard carrots I also had a hard piece of plantain . I also bought red snapper it was over cooked and didn’t need red sauce on it. There was to much rice as well for my first time trying out the food. Also, the portion is very small for the money they are requiring for the food. But the food did taste good.

I found this place while on the hunt for Black Businesses in Detroit. Tried this placed twice and it’s literally my favorite treat when on the west! Food is always so good, staff is very nice and friendly. I get the Stewed Chicken platter which is always so bomb!!! Today I tried the Zobo Tea, which was so good and tropical! I recommend you come out and support this restaurant! The food is worth every penny!!

My niece spoke so highly of this food truck, I was excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, I was completely disappointed! In Nigeria they must feed the entire village with one ox, because I’ve never seen oxtails cut this thin! The menu advertised 4 oxtails, but I only received 3. The rice was sticky and just did not taste good. I ended throwing the entire meal away. While the tea was pretty good (but also overpriced), it was a complete waste of $40. But the ladies running the food truck at Ferndale Pride were very pleasant.

4.5/5. First time trying Nigerian food and got the fufu with chicken stew. Chicken had a really nice almost smoky flavor and stew very flavorful but a bit salty. Fufu was great (no flavor dough-like to go with the stew). Got a side of the jollof rice and it was beyond amazing. Did wish there were a bit more meat and less salt but will definitely go again. Very good food.

Customer service was a1!! So good. My food was like little Caesar’s… hot and ready…. I’ve been to multiple restaurants and not one is as good as Fork of Nigeria. I’m vegetarian so it’s so worth the cost because that was also a challenge. Having a taste for Nigerian food and I couldn’t get anything w/o meat but Fork of Nigeria is the place to be!!

The fufu is disgusting it tastes like a plain ball of flour that ruined my first experience! No offense but the egusi soup with beef was delicious. I really wanted to dip my fufu so it’s a no for me waisted $25 on a small portion
