What can I say, this place is amazing! Great food love the atmosphere, and the cakes, pies,cookies and apple dumplings are to die for! They have the best chicken dinner around, you get two sides and four large pieces of fried chicken. We had some of the best cinnamon rolls ever made on this planet here. And my favorite part is ordering a cup of coffee that they bring out in a random coffee cup.

Best restaurant of its type in Fairmont! The chicken salad was massive, and there was a large selection of unique dressings. The peach cobbler cheesecake had been sitting awhile. The decorative peach was wilted. The cake was OK, but I wouldn’t order it again. To be fair, I am a professional cheesecake baker. Service was adequate, but glasses were not refilled even with dessert. We asked twice for a dessert menu. No one, including the owner, checked with us to make sure all was OK after he dropped off our plates. Still, all-in-all, it was a good lunch experience, and the next time l am in Fairmont, I will look forward to visiting again.

We were really looking forward to having breakfast here but, we got there a little late… I ended up getting the Reuben with onion rings, but, everything on the menu looks very good. The staff was very warm and courteous. The restaurant, including the bathrooms, were very clean and well-lit.. Most importantly, the food was awesome! If I ever find myself in Fairmont again, I will definitely be stopping in for a bite!…

This was delicious and plenty portions too. I had cabbage rolls with mashed potatoes. The potatoes were like homemade not the industrial whipped ones you often get. They came with a tomato sauerkraut sauce that was really tasty. Take a pie home you probably won’t be able to finish it there. The pies were wonderful. Apple With cinnamon and nutmeg and a strawberry rhubarb.

The owner and staff were excellent!! They let my mom and I stay for over 4 hours because my car broke down on our way to Pittsburgh from Roanoke, Virginia. They were very understanding, kind, and accommodating. The food was outstanding as well!!
