Get better employees that care and know what they are doing. On May 5 2023 at 10:45am I went there for the drive through and it was blocked by some kind of construction. I went inside to inform the manager or an employee that it was blocked and that they should post a sign and was given argument Michael Porcella instead on whether a vehicle can get to the mic to order. Told me I should just pull up and back in to the mic to order. My vehicle isn’t a small car. If this is what buddies calls customer service then I think the managers and employees need training.

Buddy’s- the Krystal’s version of BBQ. For only $9.99 you can get a large drink, a large bun and 1/2 oz of meat. I mean seriously… come on. Buddy’s used to be the best bbq joint around but they’ve gotten crazy stingy with their meat. When you bite into a pork sandwich, all you taste is a freaking bbq flavored bun with barely any trace of meat. Absolutely ridiculous. You could of course pay .79 cents more and have an extra paper clip worth of meat added to your sandwich.

Stopped here on the way to Florida for breakfast. Needless to say it was Awful. Hopefully the BBQ taste better than the the breakfast. It looked like the bacon was placed directly on the grill. It had that smoky taste, which wasn’t good in my opinion. Was pretty disappointed didn’t think you could mess up bacon . The French toast sticks was hard and tasteless. We decided to throw everything away and go somewhere else.

I have always been a fan of Buddy’s BBQ, even had them cater my wedding. When we visited today we noticed the store was short staffed but even then the manager still got people’s orders in and out. The food was delicious and quickly served even with the few staff looking stressed. I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich or the wings with a double order of hush puppies.

Buddy’s used to have a great breakfast I ordered the pork loin biscuit the meat was like a piece of shoe leather and the bottom part of the biscuit was hard as a brick not edible at all and I didn’t go back because I live in south knoxville and my Buddy’s doesn’t serve breakfast I was on the Powell side of town but anyways for the $ you pay for food you should get decent quality.

The food was cold there’s NO excuse for it they weren’t really busy, there’s no reason for cold food that’s dangerous to be giving to customers. We also know better than to complain about the meals when you cannot see how they’re being prepared

Went through the drive through and the experience was fine. Then remembered I forgot to order a drink so I parked and went in and I hear the lady say” She JUST went through the drive through. Will you see what she wants?” So I say I just need to order a drink and hot fudge cake, and drive through lady then turns her head and says to other girl “she forgot to order her drink and hot fudge.” With an attitude and shaking her head in a smart butt way. Not appreciated. Won’t be back. If she doesn’t like her job that much, she doesn’t need to work there.
