Garlic knots were not cooked all the way but tasted like basically ever other cheap pizza joints knots. The sauce was super acidic and cheese fell right off the pizza. They were understaffed with no server when I arrived but those who were there did what the could!

Definitely disappointed, this place use to be amazing. But has changed tremendously over the years, the pizza was not as good as it use to be, the sauce tasted different. I got a margherita pizza and it giant pieces of tomatoes, and the a cheese and half pepperoni pizza, which were extremely messy they were falling apart, had and the garlic knots were a 5/10 would have ranked higher but they were warm on the verge of cold. I also got wings which were the best thing served there. The service in this place was super disappointing, I understand that it’s hard to accommodate for large groups but while I was there I was told it would be a few minutes. And it really was 30-40 ish minutes of a wait, the sever wasn’t attentive or even coming to tell me how much longer until they had a table available. While a group of 5 people had one table for them to sit at, and another two tables to hold their pizzas.

Great thin crust pizza with a nice flavorful sauce, can’t go wrong! Also had wings which were fried crispy and weren’t oversized or undersized. Nice staff, always worth swinging by if you’re in the mood for a pie, wings and some beer

I’ve been a Luna fan for more than 30 years, since they began on Franklin Ave. The West Hartford opening was a welcome event and I have been a loyal supporter since. However I must say I will probably find another place for my pizza since my last couple of visits. The place is always empty of patrons (maybe they do more takeout), the establishment is in great need of a face lift and it looks unkept. I was also appalled to see the guy making the pizza eating his own slice at the same time. It was also one of our hottest days, in excess of 95 and their air conditioning was not working. All this combined with their prices which have soared and the product which isn’t as good as in the past. Sorry, not good to see.

I want to start by saying my wife and I use to order the BBQ chicken pizza while in college and we loved it. Tonight the pizza came cold which wasn’t totally unexpected as I had it delivered to the children’s hospital. The flavor was decent. My main gripe is with the house salad. Food these days is expensive and it drives me crazy when I spend good money on food and end up with garbage. The salad that came first of all isn’t a $12 dollar salad. The Italian dressing is mediocre flavored and lots of the salad had gross black lettuce and 3 out of the 5 cucumbers were freezer burned. I think the salad was in the cold part of the fridge as a whole. I hope the owner reaches out to try and make this right. Please do better!!

Revisiting Luna Pizza this week of September 2020, we chose to eat inside. I wanted their white pizza again, but my partner thought the white clam would be good, too, so the waitress suggested we get our large pizza made as half white half white clam. We agreed and ordered two glasses of Malbec and the plain calamari as an app.

Man, this review page is a trip. Skip through the petty stuff and read this: Luna Pizza makes the best pie in CT. They cook their pizzas in an old school brick oven, the classic thin crust is perfect and flavorful, the sauce is tangy and tasty, and the cheese is fresh. Help yourself to a meatball app as well- moist and spiced perfectly. That’s all there is to it. Sit on the patio, watch the WeHa yuppies stroll by, and have a local beer while you wait. Sounds like some of you need one.

I was with a group of friends for lunch when the waitress asked if we needed any refills I said no,but I changed my mind later she was rude about it. Do your self a favor and eat at George’s Pizza or Jimmie’s Pizza heck even Sbarro. I’d be nice if Luna’s closed down in favor of something more useful to the community check the other one star reviews before deciding on coming here! And you would be surprised

My husband and I had not been to Luna in years and were pleasantly surprised to find it now has a cozy bar area with smaller, more intimate tables and an expanded menu with sandwiches and Italian entrees in addition to their trademark pizza. I had a sandwich – The Webster – and my husband had spaghetti with sausage. Both good. We’ll be back.

I have been wanting to order from here for a while due to high recommendations and great reviews, but was sadly disappointed. The pizza was cold (though it was good otherwise) and the garlic knots were rock hard. I must have ordered at an off time. Very expensive for what it was 🙁
