Princeton Soup and Sandwich has brought their delicious hearty food to Cranbury! The family who own the restaurant were so welcoming at their soft opening and the staff was wonderfully professional. As always, each of the dishes we ordered were flavorful and well made. It was so nice to have the option to sit outside on the private patio and the interior was so spacious and clean and bright.

First time visiting as it was recommended. I ordered Italian Wedding Soup and let’s just say it was some sort of soup, but nothing about it was “Italian”, it was extremely oily and had no flavor or reeked of Italian wedding. My friends had sandwiches which they both enjoyed but one if them also had the same soup and said the same thing, oily and didn’t like. So, I will give them a pass this time and order something else next time visiting, but not soup!

Food tasted decently good but it was overpriced for what you got, even for Princeton standards, and our stomachs hurt after. $30+ for two people getting sandwiches without drinks is a little pricey. Probably could’ve gotten same or more food from somewhere like Winberries for the same price, and it would’ve been higher quality. Prices were whited out on the menu and by the time we decided what to get and were told the price, didn’t feel like walking around to find something cheaper. Borderline bait and switch tactic. Also were basically rushed by the cashier while looking at the menu, with no one else waiting.

After living here for over 20 years, I finally stopped by this place and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the tomato basil soup but they ran out, but the employee recommended the lentil pastini soup–so glad the tomato ran out because this one was amazing! Really well cooked soups. Tried a bit of my friend’s veggie burger and it was great–fresh patty made in house and just a super great veggie burger. it was refreshing to have a veggie burger that’s actually good instead of the boring ones we’re used to get when eating out as vegetarians.

A kind of a hole in the wall by Princeton standards as well average for the price by Princeton standards. About about a block away from the Princeton campus, they serve a good selection of sandwiches and daily specials as well as soups… especially a nice lobster bisque. If you’re price for a sandwich is around a Panera beard pricing, this place is a little bit more expensive but the food is at least above average to excellent. We were well past $40 for two sandwiches, an order of fries, and two cans of soda.

My company was hosting an all day meeting and we were requiring both breakfast and lunch. We ordered the bagel platter and fruit salad for breakfast, as well as a box of coffee. For lunch we ordered both the hot and cold sandwich platter and a gazpacho salad, as well as a tray of cookies. Everything was fresh and delicious! The sandwich platters were a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian (they were kind enough to ask us what sort of mix we were needing), so everyone had something they liked. Everyone enjoyed the food for not only the taste, but the fact that it went beyond the more basic kinds of sandwiches. The scheduled delivery was right on time. The entire staff I dealt with was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating… particularly since we had placed the order somewhat late due to the last minute nature of the event itself. I would highly recommend this place for catering or even just a quick bite on your own.

I heard they were good, but after trying them, I didn’t get the draw. What we ordered was meh. E.g., the bisque was tasty – but lobster bisque is inherently tasty because of what’s in it: it’s just that I’ve had way better interpretations, which makes theirs meh in comparison.
