I normally do not write reviews for restaurants but damn! Takara is hands down one of Alvin’s best restaurants in the area. Amazing authentic Japanese food. extremely clean environment and friendly staff. I had a wonderful experience eating here with my family, I Definitely will be coming back very soon. Also the Robot waiter is super awesome as well!

This place is great. We got the tempera appetizer, a rainbow roll, a cowboy roll, and the amazing tuna roll. I had some uni sushi as well. We also shared some great cold sake. It was absolutely delicious with great prices. The robot that brings food out is really cute. We will definitely be putting this on our regular rotation for date nights.

Went for the first time this evening and it was very good. Great little spot for Alvin. Service was good. We got asked by several different employees if we were ok and everyone worked as a team. The sushi was good. The seasoned edamame was amazing. The fried rice left a bit to be desired but it didn’t break the whole deal.

This place is a great addition to Alvin. We’ve needed an outstanding Sushi restaurant forever and this place filled that void. We had three different sushi rolls and loved them all. If I had to pick a favorite it would be cowboy roll. The saki was a great addition to the meal to complement the atmosphere.

The food was pretty good and the presentation was excellent. Cute delivery robot too. I expected the tower to be larger, considering it was about the same price as the one at Masa Sushi. Overall, nice place, and I hope it gets plenty of business so Alvin can continue to have a good sushi place.

We’re here on opening night. Servers are attentive. They have wine and beer which is hard to get in Alvin. The food is sooo good!!! We only got sushi and appetizers. So glad to have something new in Alvin and it tastes great! Please support them so we have food diversity in Alvin. Also, it’s like $5-$15 a roll. As good as Ohayo in Webster.
