So the family and I hit up Freddy’s in Grimes. Dang good food. Shoe string fries, onion rings, cheese balls all cooked well. The patty melt was delicious and the rye bread had a noticeable fennel seed flavor which was nice. I got the birthday cake shake which tasted like a birthday cake. Tried the chocolate shake as well which was mighty fine as well. Will be back again.

It was our first time going here, I had there burger with bacon and fries. Holy smokes was I impressed!! The burger was of the smash burger variety, with tons of flavor and it was not dry as most smash burgers are. Fries were the smallest diameter I have ever seen, they had just the right amount of crunch to them and they were perfectly seasoned with olive oil and an herb I could not quite identify, super tasty. The best part was it was cheaper than if I got the same thing from the Golden arches, and 10 times better!! I will for sure be back!! The wife had the patty melt and she enjoyed it, said it was one of the best she has had.

They have real smash burgers here! The custard is great. The shoestring fries can be annoying when you get to the bottom and you may need a fork. They have other sides though. The special sauces are good as well. Have Fun!

1st time here and used drive-up and took home. Friendly service. Burgers are very good for fast food, matchstick french fries solid. Cheese curds are batter dipped, so do not expect them to be crunchy which i like, so cannot recommend them. Concrere and shakes were great. Loved the key lime flavor. Reasonably priced for the quality but not low-priced if that is what you are looking for. Will be back again.
