Pizza at it’s best. If You like lots of toppings, Beggars lays it on Thick! We love Their Pizza. We also got Cinnamon Bites. Awesome!!!

Ordered a deep dish a few months ago only to receive a thin crust. Apparently the employee cutting pizzas was new and didn’t know the difference…really? Offered a couple cans of pop for the delay and mistake…fast forward to tonight. Order online for carryout, get email confirmation the order was placed and what time it will be ready only to arrive and hear that the order never came through. Place is a joke.

Food is decent but owner is extremely rude and talks down to people. I’ve been going to this store for over fifteen years and after my last visit, the owner has made me go to a different pizzeria. Sorry Dyer Beggars but your owner treats people terribly

I typically enjoyed eating the pies here and have had some issues in the past but they have always been resolved. Up until recently, we had an issue with a foreign object in our pie that chipped my tooth. I called and told the gentleman what had happened and offered to give me another pizza… at this point I was beyond another pizza. I had already made an appointment with the dentist and that I would be using my insurance to have the work done and thought they should be atleast liable for whatever isn’t covered. Then I was told people try and scam him… I understood that and took that into consideration but by the end of the conversation he was insinuating I was also. So he can keep his pizza, I will pay out of pocket what isn’t covered and never get a pizza there again. I hope this review was helpful.

complete waste of money, burnt pizza. how u cook a pizza burnt on top, raw in the middle is beyond me. contacted store manager, was no help..out of delivery area for them to fix their mistake. so apparently it’s the customers loss.

Slow service at carry out..20 min past estimated time but to burn a pizza that’s what it takes. While waiting for my order it was great to have a view of an employee scarfing down pizza sitting next to register, she needed a napkin bad to say the least. That was the most unpleasant site I’ve seen at a restaurant, who let’s employees eat standing by the register. I’ve never even went to McDonald’s and the employees are taking orders with a burger in hand. And top it off pizza was burnt and totally raw in the middle using a proprietary technique specific to this location. So much for quality control by the management, no corporate standard here. Night and day compared to the Illinois locations I visit, now will never visit another Beggars period. Corporate needs to look into the management of this location, no customer should be straight robbed of $40. I was ordering a pizza not making a drug deal, the risk should of been minimal so I thought. Only store credit offered, no refunds even if the pizza is not edible and out of delivery range. I was expected to drive back 30 min as the only means to rectify their mistake. I sent the manager photos and requested a refund which was a reasonable request but was refused due to store policy. The manager then refused to send a driver to replace the pizza even after seeing these photos because I was out of delivery range. So I spent $40 dollars and another $30 for another meal close by. Because the Kids were hungry and couldn’t wait another hour to eat. Who would want credit and return to this place after seeing how they can box a pizza cooked with some kind of weird science. Beware this place will rob $40 dollars from you with a smile and defend their actions solely by store policy. Anyone looking to hustle people for money look into buying a beggars franchise and hire this manager for sure. This review is a 100% factual account of my experience with this place, pictures uploaded say it all. In the end it cost me $70 for McDonald’s adding in the cost of the robbery and mental assault from Dyer beggars pizza.

Ugh don’t bother. Let’s start with the wings. We got boneless and they do that weird style where they sauce them and then bake them (to each there own if you like them this way-we do not).

Been coming here since they first opened. Back when the locals didn’t even know that beggars is a south side Chicago staple for GREAT PIZZA. Not all Beggers Pizza joints are up to snuff with the ones on 127th or 115th but this one makes them proud. Better than the one in Lansing easily.
