If you know what good authentic Mexican food tastes like, avoid this place. My meal started with stale chips. I ordered ceviche – knowing it was cod and okay with that, but not knowing that’s all it pretty much was and in a soupy lime and fish juice mixture. Tiny bits of tomato, undetectable cilantro, canned jalapeños and mushy avocado. For $16.99 I expected better.

Had the best time here tonight with the family. Most delicious food and the staff was so kind such a great atmosphere. We were a party of 6 and everyone’s food came out together and delicious. We will definitely be back many times to come.

I ordered a #3 with an enchilada, a taco,and a tostada. Everything was great! I now have a new place to stop when going from Portland to Seattle and back. You should definitely try it, it’s a little off the beaten path, but so worth the detour!

We stopped by on our way back from St Helens on Morher’s Day. The ladies greeted us and gave me a red carnation, and I drew a piece of paper out of a bowl. I won a free lunch. Service was great. I ordered fish tacos, but I wasn’t a fan of how they were prepared , I tried them anyway. I’m pretty particular about fish tacos, and I wouldn’t oder them again, but everything else was great.

We are giving 5 starts due to the friendly service of Mr. Chimis and his wife. We were making a stop in our way to Mt. St. Helens to have early lunch. We had the pozole and pollo con mole. The chips and salsa are great!. We will be stopping by again when passing Toledo a next time.
