As always, the food was great. My issue came with the service. My order was forgotten and I had to wait nearly 30 minutes before asking why my order was taking so long. 10 minutes later, I heard that someone was finally making order. I had a fairly simple order, so I’m not sure why it was forgotten or what missteps led to me waiting so long. Also, one of the ladies at the front was eating donuts while assisting customers. That is very unprofessional. I work in food service and I understand how hunger can arise from a demanding day, but don’t do that in front of customers. I am a loyal customer, so I will return. But let’s maintain a level of professional.

The food was very good! The service was ok. The atmosphere was horrible. It was hot! We were being buzzed by flies in the whole time. There was no ice. Will not go back to dine in.

I wanted to give Roul’s another chance, so I visited the new location in Baton Rouge on O’Neal. Inside the deli was soooo hot that it was impossible to dine in. As usual, the egg rolls were good. I ordered the 10 piece wings lemon pepper, but there wasn’t any lemon pepper in sight. Just fried hard (didn’t care for that) small wings. The French fries could have been cooked longer to eliminate the grease and sogginess. My friend who was with me enjoyed his double shrimp burger and fries. Parking is adequate and this is by far an accessible place with no headaches to find parking like the location on Highland.

As a foodie, Rouls has been my go-to in BR (crawfish eggrolls and a shrimp burger add jalapeños is my fav combo). I decided to try their new location because it’s more convenient for me. Food is AMAZING. They will never compromise on quality and portions. If you haven’t eaten here, you seriously need to! Staff is great and super friendly. There is a reason why the line is wrapped around the door!

I went on opening day. It was so busy and the service was excellent. So happy they finally opened a Roul’s location on this side of town. The crawfish egg rolls and barbecue ranch fries my go to. So so good!!
