Absolutely worth every penny. The owner, and operator. Is awesome. I felt like I was at her home, and she was there to take care of all my hunger issues. I highly recommend this be a stop. Large menu definitely going to have to work my way through it. Please stop and enjoy.

Good taste and portion size. I order the fish hoagie with the extra toppings of mushrooms, peppers. Plus sides of twisted fries, soda. The picture shows only half the sandwich. Total of $18.

A perfect meal for a hot summer day. Very clean tasting fried chicken. Clearly fried right so that its not greasy. Was impressed by the juiciness of the drumsticks and breast pieces.

The chicken was OVER COOKED and super dry. The Mac&cheese was just not the same as it once was. The noodles were over cooked leave them with a mushy texture and a heavy salted “cheese” sauce.

This Fry-Stand has been at the corner of Packard and LaSalle for as long as this 58-year old can remember, albeit under different names. I’ve eaten here recently only 3 times. The food was satisfying each time. The service was good. However, the only draw-back has been wait times. When we ordered online the last time, we were told the order would be ready in 28 minutes; but, it took 53 minutes, ultimately. The time before that, we ordered at the counter, and ended up waiting 50 minutes to an hour for the order. Was it worth the wait? Well, yes, but it seems like it shouldn’t take that long, and I’m not sure what the problem is, but I wish they’d find a way to address it.

We ordered two pans of chicken for a family reunion. Easy ordering, ready on time, and cheaper than competitors. The chicken was delicious, folks were taking about how crispy the outside was and how moist the meat was. We will definitely order again!

Stopped at Wicked Mary’s on Packard in Ann Arbor for lunch and really enjoyed the mini burgers and fries cooked up by Jasmine. Friendly service and yummy food. Great to get away from the big chain food places and eat at a local gem. Thanks! I’ll be back.

I went here for the first time & when I say I was amazed at how the food was, definitely can tell it’s home cooked & made with love. I hade the chicken combo, with mash, slaw & mac, but i also sampled the gizzards! I love gizzards never had them fried but it was wonderful & flavorful. Willy & Jasmine are very nice & pleasant people. I’ll definitely be back more often!
