Food was great, portions were good. Only issue was they really don’t have any hot sauce/salsa that’s hot. I asked for the hottest sauce they had and they gave me the orange packets, and also tried a couple of others. I think ketchup would of been hotter. Our first visit was in the drive thru. The gal working was very short with us. The menu is large. The food was prepared quickly. Wasn’t hot but was warm. We asked for hot salsa. She said it was in the bag and slammed the window shut and walked off. The food portion was good. Taste was ok but none of us finished ours. The salsa in the bag wasn’t marked as to what either was. Not sure we will go back, but don’t like to make our mind up based on our experience with one employee. $50 for three people to have mediocre warm Mexican food was a bit much.

Went through the drive thru and got their taco Tuesday special, five tacos for six bucks. Had the choice of beef or chicken, I got chicken. Pretty good tacos and the service was fast.

If you are looking for a full a service restaurant, this place only has 4 tiny booths. Would consider this more a take out, so when we arrived after driving for 2 hours to get here, I was a bit disappointed. The food is great, so was able to overlook any disappointment I had in this place not being exactly what we thought. Just glad that it was open on Easter Sunday also! Will definitely go back if I ever get back to Emporia.

Amazing food and big portions and reasonably priced. Staff are pretty nice but they could be nicer. Budget-friendly, and it was about $37 for 3 people. If you want to eat inside the building it is very tight and crowded. Otherwise definitely recommend!

Abelardo’s. It’s like a quality food truck in a Little Caesar’s location. There are a couple of booths if you want to eat in. The food is pretty good. They’re pretty fast. No complaints. I enjoyed my tacos.
