Good food and good size portions. Plenty of customers and plenty of open tables to accommodate more. We came about 9:30 and we were happy to see people coming and going. Looks like this wonderful place will be around a good long time.

A++ delicious food, great, friendly service. Wonderful classic diner vibes. I am so stuffed I’m on the verge of an impromptu nap and I have NO REGRETS.

The sausage gravy had chunks of sausage the size of my thumb, SO good!! The chicken fried steak had excellent flavor, and there were plenty of hashbrowns. The eggs benedict was excellent as well.

I got my go to, the biscuits and gravy, which was AMAZING!!! They put huge pieces of sausage in their gravy and it is absolutely delicious. I am a B&G fanatic and it is definitely in my top 5 all time. The pancakes are plate sized and scrumptious

A classic breakfast diner with all the classic dishes and an atmosphere to match. The pancake options (original, cinnamon roll, and almond poppyseed!) are amazing and I highly recommend. They also have solid lunch options and Chilaquiles. A true Grit City “greasy spoon” restaurant in all the good classic ways ¯_(ツ)_/¯

We’ve come here several times from their soft open to now. We love this place! We originally hail from NY so diners feel like home – Pinecone is a modern twist to a familiar diner feel.

We came by on a Sunday around 11 for lunch, and the diner was already pretty busy. It took about 5 minutes to get our table which was quick, but the seats were all wet with drops (not damp from a cleaning cloth, this was more of a spill) and there were crumbs all over, so I needed to clean before sitting down. The hostess told us they were out of menus for our whole table except for 1 person, and she would be back with some. She never came back so we let our waitress know. She also never returned with any, and then acted annoyed that we weren’t ready to order when 4 of us were trying to read off of 1 menu. FYI, there’s no kids menu either. We also only received two sets of silverware so we had to ask for more. The food took nearly 40 minutes to come out. Overall it wasn’t worth the price. Everything tasted ok, nothing special. $7.99 for yogurt and granola is pretty high, among the other high priced breakfast foods. Honestly the staff seemed very unprepared for the morning/lunch rush.

This place is delicious and clean. You feel like you are transported into a diff time zone by this cute diner. It is a new age retro style diner feel with some extremely good food. It is a very clean restaurant with friendly staff. The food portions are great for the price. Get the chicken Fried Steak you won’t be disappointed. It is cooked to perfection. Seasoned very well with the perfect amount of salt, pepper, and breading. Go check this place out.

Great food and service! It takes a while to get in but that’s why it is worth the wait. It’s nice to have a local restaurant like The Pine Cone here locally and within walking distance. I can’t wait to go back. We came here for brunch on a Saturday. We also noticed that they have a bar and happy hour. The drinks and the happy hour menu seemed fun and a place we would like to try out for dinner.
