We are from the Tulsa area so whenever we head towards Tonitown, we stop to eat their tendon fried with steak & shrimp. Last night we were heading into Tonitown and called them to see what time they were closed. Come to find out we would arrive 15 mins after their closing time but the owner was sweet enough to wait for us and placed our orders. The owners are super sweet people and very good customer service.

I cannot imagine why this place has such high ratings! I ordered a mid rare to rare steak and it is well done and tougher than a waffle house steak. The shrimp is as tough as the steak! The shrimp is precooked shrimp heated either in a microwave or perhaps a grill. The fried rice looks like brown rice. It’s absolutely NOT fried! No egg, bits of veggies, or much seasoning at all! Its also a weird texture, almost grittu! The noodles were super al dente and very bland! The steak was completely inedible! I put 1 small piece in my mouth and 6 mins later spit it out! The egg rolls weren’t bad! One meal with noodles, a side order of so=called fried rice with 2 egg rolls was $20 and only the egg rolls weren’t horrible!!

Was so excited to try this place. The pictures of food looked amazing however I wish I had not ignored some reviews. My vegetables looked and tasted old, chicken dried out and my spring rolls where not done in the middle. 37 dollars wasted. Would rate one but crab Rangoon was ok…. now I have to find something else to eat for lunch!!!

Kyoto is literally our favorite take-out food joint. The people are always super friendly and the service is always accurate and quick! We love the food and it’s always plenty more than we expect for just my husband and I. Highly recommend!

Fresh and tasty Japanese style food. Thought their Teriyaki was a bit sweet for my taste but that’s my biggest complaint. The veggies were excellently cooked. Thought the rice was well prepared.
