This was an event for my aunt’s birthday. Yes the ticket was $40 but it’s supporting a black owned business. The food was good. Timing of it coming out could have been better but hey who am I, not the chefs. On my plate i had jerk chicken, waffles, French toast & beef bacon(high salt content). My second plate i had that pork i took a picture of from afar and it tasted as good as it looked. The green tea shot was nice too! The staff was very friendly and hospitable. Is recommend this place!

The Food was AWESOME! Period! Myself and my colleagues were extremely happy with the food there. I also wanna thank our waitress(I’m sorry I forgot your name) Light skin tall young lady Who eventually went from serving us to going behind the bar to serve, but make sure that we were taken cared of. If I had to complain about anything it would be that the security team was on a livestream while going through my belongings and wanding me in which I thought was very unprofessional

This is my second visit here. I really think this place is a neighborhood gem but there are some things that need to be worked on: more attentiveness from the waitress, we placed our food order & after more than 1 hr, we had to inquire about the status of the order. When the food arrived, it was lukewarm &1 order was never delivered. The quesidellias were tasty, just not hot. The seafood steak wrap was good but needed more sauce. The prices need 2 be updated on the menu to match the actual prices charged & receipts should be made available. It’d be nice if the DJ would play some 70’s/80’s music. Hopefully management will review this & work on correcting this things. I will return.

Heard that the food was good’ called to place order to try them out. Lady answered…the first time- I was placed on hold then hung up on. SECOND Time, I asked about the lunch menu…was told to check on line, since she had people at the Bar, she had no time to take discuss the lunch menu or in her words”Im sorry but I really dont have time to do this. I got people at the bar that need to order”” Unbelievable, but YES-that’s what I was told! maybe I’ll try to support this Black own business the next time, I’m in the area.
