The atmosphere is nice and cozy the food is awesome, nice accommodations like charging station, plug in laptops at the table! Courteous staff and very clean eating area! Photos are during winter weather and not a good representation of how busy the restaurant usually is.

I’m not sure who owns it now, but the service is terrible and so is the food. Not to mention that they’re using sweet baby rays BBQ sauce. The chopped brisket sandwich was very fatty and the baked potato was not completely baked. I had to come home and rebake because it was hard on the inside. I really don’t why there was a ton of butter on the potato. I asked for everything on it and all they put was meat, cheese, butter and sour cream. I won’t be returning.

We ended up at Dickies Barbecue Pit because a restaurant across the freeway was lacking in the service department. Mom loves barbecue so we should have made Dickies our first stop. Everything happens for a reason though. The level of service received and the good quality food made this a very pleasant dining experience. From the moment we walked in, Herb made us feel like family. He was very patient, friendly, accommodating and delightful. The barbecue was flavorful and the flow of the restaurant made for a very comfortable experience. The food, portions, quality and service were outstanding! Situated on the northbound side of the I35 Service road with little parking in front and additional parking in back. They’re hiring, they cater and Kids Eat Free every Sunday (see store for details).

Not what Dickey’s used to be! I had green beans, and they were nowhere near as good as they used to be. I know Dickey’s is a franchise, so they are supposed to be the same no matter where I go. It was very disappointing, and when I spent $72, I would hope it would be better!

The service is terrible!!!! This is why your establishment is empty and not making any money because your service is trash! I wait in line for 10 minutes and there was no one in the store!!!! Why am I waiting!!!! And then the cook/manager tried to short me on the food but still charge extra when I told her that wasn’t enough! You can tell she was racist. Trash environment don’t waste your money!

Terrible! Me and my wife both got chopped beef sandwiches but they were mostly fat. Could not eat them but we’re already down the road and had to throw them away. Have a picture of what they served us. Already tried to email corporate over a week ago with no response. Don’t believe them if they post something about trying to correct the issue.
