My sister and I were looking for California burrito but couldn’t find it. This place was in the neighborhood so we settled for this place. We were hungry and wanted something to snack on. It was a hit. The food was great, service was good. Tried all the great salsas on some chips. Love the sour cream one. I’m sure we will be back. We had Nachos.

The food is excellent, but the service of an employee named Maria is the most lousy, she treats customers as if she were asking for a gift, yesterday I went to eat there at around 5:30, and she answers people like she was bitter and didn’t like her job. I would give 0 stars if I could! Ordered the super nachos and it came with just cheese and chicken. In my opinion the chips were SO stale I couldn’t even chew it! We have never ordered here and we never will again! Too bad for them because we order a ton of MX food!

Do you like ice cold margaritas? Does a flavorful, cooked to order street taco sound yummy? Do you like a fresh salsa bar with warm tortilla chips? Me too! Taqueria El burrito has all of those and more. The shrimp and carnita tacos were the best vs the grilled and shredded chicken. Instead of using the small cups to dip your salsa, I would recommend using the paper trays next to the chips. It holds more and it’s easier to dip the big chips in. Also, ask for an additional shot in your margarita. It’s on the weak side without the extra kick. This isn’t a great date spot, but it is a fabulous taco Tuesday date idea. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY
