Came here after getting our yearly Bucee’s Halloween shirt and OMG did this place deliver! We went at 11pm and the line was huge. (Always a good sign) we ordered the hamburguesa, hot dog, elote en vaso loco, raspa de fruta: fresa + guava mix a quesadilla and tacos Al pastor and chorizo.

Taqueria El Toluca was a drive for us from Houston but it is very very good. It’s a food truck in a truck parking lot. They have some picnic tables under the tent. The line can be very long, it is that good. Prices are very affordable and portions are ample. My favorite was the Papas Asada, a baked potato with so much flavor, the bacon on top gives it an extra crunch. Be sure to order the Elote from the little Elote truck on the right. It comes in a little cup, creamier style but very good.

This place was recommended to me from an acquaintance, and it was no doubt the best taco truck in Katy. I ordered 9 tacos (fajita, pollo, and pastor) all for myself with cilantro, grilled onions, and lime. I ate all of this in 7 minutes and I’ll be coming back soon.

At first I was planning on going to Chipotle today, however, I decided against it and wanted to try something different and something local to Houston and I stumbled across this place and I’m soooooo happy that I did. This food was so delicious and it was prepared quickly! I ordered a fajita burrito, the pork tamales and the horchata. And for a great price (only $14), I got such a hearty portion, and the food is freshly made to order and it was hot. The salsa was amazing too. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars is because it was so hard to find and I almost gave up, other than that, the food was so worth the initial confusion. But if you are looking for it, it’s a food truck and can be found behind the Texaco gas station right before you get onto the highway. This definitely won’t be my last time coming, and the gentlemen had amazing customer service. The food was 10 stars.

We first went a little over 2 years ago, before they became as popular as they are now, and you can tell there is a significant difference overall. Food continues to be good but I don’t know if the rest of the issues can be ignored due to the food being good. We waited about 10-15 minutes in line (which was no issue) I ordered 2 flour tortilla tacos and all they had was corn tortillas. Disappointing and a bit frustrating after waiting for so long, but still ordered the tacos. When going to the register, I asked for small containers for salsa, and the cashier proceeded to tell me he could only give me 1 small container cause he had already given me some salsas. It’s fine no issue either, but I feel overall the atmosphere and service changed so much after getting more known.
