Love this quaint little place in Ortona. There’s a new owner Kathy I believe who is very nice. The tavern will be open all year now but a Sunday off here and there. The food was delicious, the pizza sub was excellent. She had karaoke from 2 – 6. A must place to stop.

We live in Hollywood and wanted to get away from the commotion so we drove through Clewiston and Moore Haven and it was lunch time so we googled places to eat and came across Ortona Tavern. Place looked cute so we figured we’d try it. First off, it is off the beaten path, which we appreciated. Once we arrived we were greeted by Kathy who just is the sweetest thing. The ambiance is super quaint and the food was good. This is a great place to getaway from it all, have a cold beer, get something to eat all while helping out a local tavern. When we want to get away again we will definitely go back.

Hidden gem. Staff was very friendly, jalapeno burger was very good. We sat outside by the river and they had a firepit running which was perfect for a chilly night.
