Cafe Aurora is one of Eritrean restaurants around DMV and has been in the area for such a long time. They are well know by their cleanliness standards and quality food. Food is always great and service is also nice. The only thing is good takes lol time sometimes.

The menu quoted $4.50 for a drink, I was charged $6.50. After I paid waitress took $2.00 out of the cash drawer and put it into her tip jar. When I asked her about the price difference she mentioned the menu had the incorrect prices. BEWARE LOCALS! SHE IS PAYING HERSELF TIPS.

Such amazing delicious food! I don’t know what I ate because I just told the waitress to bring me her favorite thing. It had some beans and onions and I think sour cream and some other things. I wish I took a picture before I mix them up. But I put it on the bread and it was so delicious! She was very very nice and polite and considerate. The type of customer service we used to get 10 years ago. Anyone who says that they are rude here, had to be rude to them first. You get the tone you set. They seem very accommodating and polite.

Great coffee, amazing services and customers that make the place super cool. I enjoy their latte but they also have local food items to try and authentic beverages from the old country. So glad this places exists but parking make it tougher to find a spot however the food and service are worth it

The man working the front at the time was amazingly nice, I came in with my grandfather and he politely treated us to some tea while we waited for our coffee which I wasn’t sure about what I wanted and he told me don’t worry I’ll make you something good and low and behold he did legit one of the best lattes I ever had only thing I regret is not asking for his name thank you very much sir you made our day.
