A “Grand Opening” is planned for Jan 9. The soups and dumplings were great. The sesame chicken was too doughy for my taste. They took it back with no issues. Got the Kung Pao, which was delicious. Service can be spotty as they work the kinks out of this new place. It should be fine by Jan 9, 2019. Menu is similar to Zendo ( same facility) and they even retained the same cook!

After coming highly recommended by a friend, I’m glad I finally made it to Sapa. From beginning to end the service was absolutely unbelievable but what truly is deserving of the 5 star review was the food. The sushi was the freshest and best I have had in my entire life. This is my new favorite restaurant in the shipyard and I will back as soon as I can. Do yourself a favor and come here, you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent dining experience, even with kids in tow. Food was good all around, portions were perfect, and we have some leftovers for the larger dishes. Drink selections and cocktail menu could suit any taste, and staff was on point all evening.

Was in the mood for something outside of the home tonight and we found out that Sapa at the Shipyard was open with a limited menu. Street visiting the site we placed our order thru the website GrubHub. I decided to pickup. The food was excellent. We ordered sushi and some other appetizers and everything was as tasty as it was when we eat at the restaurant. Glad we supported local business, even better was that local business prepared a great dinner.

I went here and ordered a vegan meal. My receipt included 16 question marks with the comments “no protein?“ “no egg?“. I would not go here if you are vegan because it seems like the chef has a real problem with it. Additionally, some of the menu items seem to include oyster sauce or egg and then also have the V for vegan which makes me think that they don’t actually even know what vegan means and are advertising it…
