I’ve never had any issues with the Murfreesboro location until today. I just picked up my soup order and the lid wasn’t own properly so it spilled out. I received only about 5-6 packs of crackers for a whole quart & 2 packs were stale. I only received enough shredded cheese for 1 bowl of soup. My cheese and bacon was mixed in a container for the first time, and everyone in my home doesn’t eat meat in their soup. I’m very disappointed & I feel like I wasted my money. I live all the way across town so I took my loss instead of driving back in holiday traffic.

The bathrooms are disgusting!! There is some sort of leak that makes the bathroom smell of soaked in urine. If you can’t take care of the restrooms, how can we expect the kitchen to be clean? They are letting the building go. Pay attention owners. This is how it starts. I love the food but the smell of the bathroom make make this my last time here. The service is slipping too.

Alright let’s start with if you were looking for an example of southern hospitality in a quick stop eatery this was it!! Jessica walked me through the whole process and when I was trying to decide she insisted I try samples. Always a wonderful experience! When the sweet employee brought the food to our table, my little one was surprised he didn’t have chips. He thought he had asked for them but I didn’t hear him. I told the employee not to worry about it, he could eat what he was served. But she looked at him and said “do you REALLY want chips?” And he happily said “yes please” and she went and got him chips. It was such a sweet gesture, to make a kid happy!

The chicken salad chick is awesome. It is probably not awesome if you aren’t a chicken salad type person. I love it, my kids love it, my husband does not. He isn’t a chicken salad type person. The sandwiches are great, the potato soup is great, the fruit bowl is better than most places, and the little cookie the Chick comes with is a great finisher.

The food is really good. I do honestly look forward to popping in when in the area, but what is up with the tipping attached to your ordering. First of all they are not full service…did the person punching in a couple of numbers or the other one dropping of a sandwich deserve 20% of a full meal including tax? I have to clear my own dirties. Second, tipping comes after…and when deserved. Pay your people and I’ll see you again when the pre food, pre experience extortion stops.

I get delivery of CSC to my home via Uber Eats OFTEN. Everything is always so fresh and delicious. My favorite is the classic on the croissant with broccoli salad as my side. Sometimes I just order for the broccoli salad, I love it so much. The cookies are a nice added bonus when you order the chicken salad + side combo things they have.
