The view in this restaurant is it’s so mesmerizing being able to see the waves crashing from the panoramic views while seated anywhere in the restaurant & bar. The food was also so it was a win win. The funny thing was my brother & I thought we were going to a completely different place, but glad we didn’t. I’d def recommend eating here if you’re in the Jacksonville Beach area & is walking distance from many hotels!

You can’t beat the location because the outside views are great of the ocean. Started with the lamb meatballs which were overcooked, but still pretty good (really enjoyed the dipping sauce). The star was the Brisket Mac n Cheese. It was a large portion, tasty and chessy. More breadcrumbs on top would have made it even better. The service was good and the happy hour drink prices are very reasonable.

Service was amazing and food was very good. The fried green tomatoes were one of the best appetizers I have had at any restaurant and the baked mac and cheese with crawfish was amazing! The key lime pasta was alright but a bit strong on the lime flavor. The clam chowder was very good and had a generous portion of clams.

Attended the Seachasers White Party which was held in a part of this restaurant, on Jacksonville beach. On the patio there was live music and people dancing and enjoying the vibes at sunset, which is part of the restaurant’s usual Sunday evening vibe on the beach. The crowd consisted of a good mix of both young and old and everyone was having a great time. The food was very good and should you visit, make sure you get the red beans & rice.

I wanted to celebrate my birthday at a restaurant that I never ate at before. Did some searching and decided to eat at Southern Kitchen. I specifically mention that I was reserving for a birthday celebration. Now normally, you let restaurants know you are celebrating something they reserve a table and decorate it and after you have finished your meal, they gave you a free dessert in honor of the celebration. I didn’t get specially reserved table, I didn’t get a decorated table or even a free dessert. But I did enjoy myself. The music selection wasn’t my cup of tea, but the vibe was real chill and the food was delicious. Would I come back? Maybe to eat upstairs and get a nice sunset view while enjoying a delicious meal.

The Shrimp & Grits that the friendly and informative bartender suggested was out of this world. I was only in Jacksonville Beach part of the day between flights, but they were so hospitable here and talked to me about the area that I will now be coming back here for vacation soon and I will 100% be having this dish as my first stop!

Wonderful beachy atmosphere! I went on a Saturday afternoon and they had reggae music playing lightly in the background and the staff was extremely nice and helpful… Made for a chill relaxing lunch outdoors in the patio. I’ll be back!
