We had dinner here tonight and oh my god…it’s so good! This is what we call “dead silence food”, because you don’t stop to talk or breathe or any of that nonsense. You just shut up and eat! The burgers were flavorful and juicy, onion rings were fresh and the fries are perfectly light and crisp. 10/10 will be going again soon!

We went around 4:30ish, so definitely not rush hour. Place seemed stale & dead. Restrooms were cleaned. Friendly staff. Great selection to choose from on the menu. Out of several items, being out of hamburger when half your menu has that meat in it, kind of a bummer. Dining area was clean. Maybe after covid is over, business will improve. On the plus side, our food was delicious!

The food was alright. It was about standard for a small family owned cafe. I ordered a horseshoe, but the portions were not very size able, but other dishes like the Philly were pretty good for the price. The atmosphere is cozy and great for both English and Spanish speaking guests. It was pretty clean and the staff was kind and attentive.

Excellent service. I enjoyed my gyro the meat on our French dip was tender and Excellent flavor, large portion size. Definitely going back. Hand scooped ice cream looked amazing, will definitely be getting some next time I visit, which will be soon.

Went in for breakfast on a Saturday morning and we were the only customers there, waitress hardly came back to the table after delivering our food. The coffee was this weird mixture of tea & coffee, and we had to ask to get silverware after we got our food. Food was ok, not great. Fairly generous portions, but my eggs were over cooked & tasteless. Unless they make some changes, would not go back to this cafe.

Cathy’s Cafe is perfect for the morning after a long night. It is always great to see Cathy and I appreciate the quiet atmosphere. Food comes fast, is reasonably priced, and delicious.

Wanted to try this place for the first time and saw steak. Seeing as most of the good steak places in Macomb are gone I ordered some steak thinking this could be my new go to place for it. When the steak came out it was rather dry and small. When I compared its size to what was offered on the menu it was about half of what was offered. I asked to take it off the bill and take it back because it wasn’t what was advertised on the menu. They still charged me 10$ for a plate of vegetables, Undercooked french fry’s and soup. Very underwhelming food quality for the price of the food. Hope they can improve

First time in town. This is a nice & clean place with comfortable seating. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries with a side of fried mushrooms. Very delicious , large portions. My fiancée had the day’s special of spaghetti & meatballs that came with a choice of broccoli soup. It was a very good helping with garlic toast….she said it was also delicious. She Loved the soup! Friendly attentive waitress. They do have all-day breakfast which we hope try before leaving town.

Super slow service. Took 15 minutes just to be waited on and there were only 2 other tables with patrons. Another 15 to get drinks, brought out 1 at a time. Biscuits were raw in the middle, eggs were half raw, even the whites! French fries were mostly raw. Overpriced for poor food and service.
