I always forget how much I enjoy Taco John’s. The wait in the drive thru line took slightly longer than I expected but it was well worth the wait since my order was freshly made and hot. Great food! I also enjoyed the interview of the store owner on the Kankakee Podcast a while back, it is a great story.

Food was not as good as it was in the past. Burritos were mostly shell no filling. No sauce on bean burrito. The biggest disappointment is hardly no seasoning on oles.

We ordered some food and one of the items was a steak burrito but when we got home with our food and discovered the burrito was mostly jalapeños and wasn’t even edible. We went back the next day with the receipt and they actually wanted the burrito but we didn’t keep it. So they wouldn’t replace it. That’s ridiculous. It’s no big deal to make a new burrito the right way. I won’t be going back.
