We always love eating here! always great service but today we had lunch and I always get a dessert Togo today we got the first piece of peanut butter pie and I ate almost all of it but maybe 3 bites and found a piece of plastic in it looks like a top of a bag or something and I called to to tell them they may want to check the pie and the women that answered didn’t act caring or understanding at all didnt offer to let me talk to a manager just didnt care. I thought that was rude!!

Very friendly staff! Food was very good. I have very sensitive stomach and food didn’t bother it at all. Staff was so above I can’t say enough about them.

Nice place for a good meal at a decent price! Always crowded which is proof of how good a restaurant is. Staff was very friendly, nice, and professional. Food was delicious. Prices are very reasonable.

The tuna sandwich was awesome. Their dessert banana slit cake was delicious. I will visit again since it’s only a few miles away from home.

Real nice cafe in Galax. Service was super fast with your typical diner / cafe vibe. Coffee, tea, pancakes, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and bacon. Our food came out very fast and was delicious. Everyone was very friendly too.

Great breakfast and good service. Just a simple restaurant but the best biscuits and gravy we’ve had in a while. Convenient place to stop. We would go again

Angus hamburger plate was perfect. Very busy place, first time here. Very country laid back and nice folks.

It’s getting a bit expensive. $8.25 for a cold breakfast these days. I’ve seen the new owner lady probably 6-7 times. She doesn’t seem to friendly. I think I’m talking a break from this place. They need to start serving hot food or I’m really done.

What a gem!!! It is no-frills comfort food at its best. I work in the area once per month. I was not feeling the typical fast food chains so I just drove around. This was the only place with a full parking lot so I pulled in. It has gray painted cinderblock walls and a few decorations here and there. The inside could use a little TLC, but The staff is really friendly and they seem to works their “backs” off. I had the chicken filet biscuit with Home fries and coffee. The biscuit was what I was hoping for in the south and the potatoes – the potatoes! – were awesome. I am a potato junkie (my husband calls me spud) and these were perfection.

The best pancakes in the United States. I walked 5 miles in the rain and it was well worth the trip.
