At one point I thought this was the best Chinese restaurant in town. The years haven’t exactly been kind and business must be slowing down. The food, first and foremost, is still pretty good. The service is the standard brisk minimal interaction you expect from a takeout place. The location though is haggard, uninviting, and doesn’t inspire confidence. They are takeout only, have no air conditioning, and old furniture and trash bag barriers at the register would scare away the faint of heart. I hate to see an old favorite losing their edge and I hope the family can turn it around. I will still stop by when I’m around. Quick lunch for 7.70

Almost closing time; however the worker took our order (House Fried Rice & Chicken Wings) and was very friendly. This was my favorite Chinese Restaurant back in the early 90’s during my college days. Sits between Huntington College and Alabama State University off Carter Hill Road. Other than Martin’s & Winn Dixie; it is the only original store in shopping center. FYI – ONLY accepts CASH. No credit Cards. Masks required to order/purchase food.

This is a simple fast food Chinese place. If you are expecting Michelin stars you will be disappointed. The food is good. The service is good. The hot and sour soup is good. I had the curry chicken – it was better than most fast food Chinese version.

The food is very good! And fast. The only downside is that the kids run through the kitchen and sometimes they let the older lady cook and she will be coming from sitting down and straight to the kitchen without washing her hands so I prefer the younger lady to cook my food..

The worst there was hardly any meat in the House special broccoli to be exact two shrimp, two piece of beef and three pieces of small tiny chicken. It should have been pork fried rice instead of fried rice. I ask for some sweet and sour sauce for my egg rolls and she gave me duck sauce. I’m glad I check the bag before I left he to call fro service several times before I got her attention. So i ask for sweet and sour again for me and my co-worker we both had two egg rolls each she comes back with one container and seem to have a problem because I ask for another one and began to speak in her language to the other person in the kitchen who ignore us when we were trying to get someone attention.

My favorite Chinese take out place. Unfortunately belongs to the entirely too large class of charmless Montgomery restaurant interiors. For God’s sake, this is a city! Must 90% of the dining establishments look like holes in the wall? I really do enjoy the food though!!!

One of my favorite hole-in-the-wall Chinese eateries in the Gump. Take out only, Cash only, but it is worth your time. Quick service and you get a ton of food for your money.
