Absolutely incredible food. I had the jerk chicken plate with the peas and rice, plantain, and beef pattie. First off the portions are so generous, like I had enough to eat here AND to take home, and I came very hungry. The texture of the plantain was on point, it was perfectly fried and not too crispy and not soggy from the oil. The jerk chicken was the perfect amount of spice, not too hot to where I couldn’t enjoy the natural flavor, but not too mild either. And the pattie was the perfect amount of fried, the texture was so flaky and the filling inside was hot and delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough! I am definitely coming back!!

This little gem showed up on my FB timeline. Reviews were good, food looked delicious and prices were on point. I decided to take a ride after work since they opened at 530, but didn’t have high expectations since it is hard for me to find really good Caribbean food in the Austin area. I called ahead to see if I need to place my order ahead of time but was told no just come on by. I ordered oxtail, rice and peas and cabbage {for my boo}, jerk chicken with the same along with a side of curry chicken. Total was around $31 which isn’t too bad. I couldn’t wait to get home to try it. The food was really good. Flavorful and nice portion size. It is actually the best I have had in this area. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but was worth it. If I am ever craving jerk chicken or boo wants ox tails we will definitely hit this spot again.

When they first opened I supported the business, yesterday was my 2nd time going and I found maggot eggs in my food, yes maggot eggs I did return the food and received a cash refund ($13) But my cc was charged ($16).I’m glad I look before I eat, never again! * I’m replying to owners response*..I’m not dumb I know what I saw cause they was in small clusters on different pieces of chicken and it wasn’t all over like seasoning, and I noticed flies in the trailer.

DELICIOUS AND FILLING! Was visiting from out of town and this place was recommended to us. It has such a homey taste and the portions were generous you definitely get your moneys worth. The beef pattie was fried to perfection and the mac and cheese was so good. We’ll be back!

I have seen this place before, but finally stopped this evening. I am glad I did. I got a plate with jerk chicken, fried plantains, and the delicious rice. Good serving size, right price. If you eat chicken and haven’t tried jerk chicken you need to treat yourself.
