The chicken shawarna was probably the best I’ve ever had. Same with the falafel. The couple serving us was so kind. It was like we were guests in their living room. So much love in that place and you can taste it in the food. And surprisingly affordable for the quality.

This is a food experience like no other.. This food doesn’t just feed your stomach, it feeds your soul. I literally had happy feet underneath the table while I ate this meal, And just when I didn’t think it could get any better the owner walks up and asks me would you like some dessert. And I’m like no you can’t top this, this was phenomenal this meal was absolutely incredible. He looks at me and smiles and says you must try my homemade pistachio ice cream, it took me over 9 months to perfect. How do I say no to that? He brings out this dish of ice cream with little tuffs of whipped cream Sprinkled with little teeny crunchy candy. Completely blown away. I don’t care how far away you live make it a trip, And treat yourself to some of the best food in Oregon.

OMG, why wasn’t there a line out the door?! Between the four of us, we had many different items and we were all so happy and full! Food was delicious and plentiful. The spices in everything were simply perfection. The baba ganush (sp?) was one of my favorites. I had the shrimp kabobs (I am pescatarian, so I did t try any of the meats, but my family raved!) and they were delicious! The accompanying rice and salad could have been their own entree, so much good flavor! The homemade pistachio ice cream was deliciously unique and the Bach lava was light, flavorful and not too sweet. I should also mention that we were there on a Monday evening about 6:45. No one was there (mind blown) and Grandma (the chef’s nickname) told us all about the menu and had personality plus. We will definitely go back! Highly recommend this little gem!
