Pretty decent food. The service was a little lacking. We asked for a dessert menu after we finished our meal and waited 10 minutes. When the waiter came back he had forgotten to bring the dessert menu. He brought us one after several more minutes. By then we were ready to leave. We never got a bill for the food so we had to tell the person at the register which table we were at to pay.

Being from Texas, I have to add the context that there is probably not any good Mexican food in the middle of Tennessee. Having said that, this place did not hit high marks for me. Chips and salsa are a staple for me with Mexican. The chips were actually great – the salsa was from a jar. The tortillas were store bough as well which for me is a big negative. I ordered the grilled chicken salad and it was just iceberg lettuce with chicken and melted cheese. The chicken itself was good but not much of a salad. The salad dressing was in a packet which is a big turn-off as well. The interior is very festive and the service was great so that brought me up from a 1 star.

It’s been here for a long time I usually eat there when I go the Middleboro way I recommend it the waitress was a tad slower no biggie on that the food was good I didn’t want rice and if I I want rice the put more beans always at Mexican restaurants that’s how it’s been here the didn’t the just gave a smaller portion the waitress acted like we shouldn’t get what where owed so that just reflects on the tip

Today was first time out food wasn’t right. The Avacadisvwere suppose to be STUFFED with grilled shrimp as usual. It came wasn’t cooked the same as usual and I had 1 Shrimp!! Mother in law ordered it with chicken, 1 small piece…hope they get the new cook trained before we go back!!!
