We went there for dinner while in Hilton Head Island. As we didn’t have a reservation They accommodated us in the Patio (my husband, I and my 2 kids). Bread was warmed and crispy, meaning delicious. Both past we ordered were great (bolognese and chicken with pasta Al limoni. Portions are very well served, including kids menu portions. They have wine by glass and bottles. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for great food.

This place absolutely knocked it out of the park for us! It dominated every place we tried this weekend in HH! This is authentic Italian food prepared from scratch with love! We are originally from Boston, now living in Charleston…it’s been years since we have tasted ‘real’ Italian food. Our waitress was outstanding! She went above & beyond, guided us through the menu making recommendations and ensuring that we got the exact experience that we wanted! We actually tried to go back again for our last supper before leaving but they are closed on Sundays 🙁

Absolutely 5 stars. Our Last night on the Island after eating fish & seafood all week. Great Italian. Started with Olive Di Casa, Calamari & House Bread. Beautiful! Calamari fried light & crispy, the way it should be. House bread was SO Italian! My Grandaughter & I love to pile our Italian bread with butter! Heaven. 4 of us, we ordered 2 Lasagna AL Forno & 2 Linguine E Polpette. (3 nice size meatballs) Sauces are spot on. Outstanding! Note: Driving home to Fla today, Hubby, myself, Daughter & Grandaughter have enough for lunch! Atmosphere is lovely. Service top notch. Make reservations. Bon appetit!

Pomodori Italian eatery is truly a hidden gem on Hilton Head Island and one of my favorite restaurants. Located on the south end on New Orleans road. Chef Amanda and her staff create classic Italian dishes that are impeccable. My goto favorites are the calamari fritti, orecchiette or linguine and meatballs. But you really cant go wrong regardless of what you pick. And do save room for a cannoli.

Reservations are definitely a good idea. Good service, attentive but not overbearing. Everything we had to eat was good-to-great. Can be a little pricy with apps, drinks, and dessert, but worth it. Would recommend.
