So tonight was my second time grabbing food from here (I’ve literally been thinking about it nonstop since the 1st time) and y’all it is SO GOOD!! The fries are addicting for real. The owner is the best and makes the food with so much love. Also it’s affordable and portion sizes are huge! Definitely my new favorite spot in Knoxville.

We visited Abu Sofya on a Monday night when visiting from Chicago. Ali, the owner, was extremely friendly. We had the cheese burger and fries and were pretty satisfied. There aren’t many halal places in the area and so it was great to see a truck with fresh halal food. Fries were a bit hard but the burgers hit the spot.

I didn’t take a picture of my plate but I ordered the kebab plate, it comes with rice and a side salad. The taste was awesome! Just like when you do a cookout and it had that Smokey taste. Definitely worth a try. The staff was friendly and respectful. My food was done in about 10 minutes. I recommend to try this place out at least once, it is really good. They don’t have a paper menu so check the menu online.

Very friendly and congenial owner, good food. We had the chicken shawarma wraps. The meat and taste was good but they were a little dry and needed some more sauce and toppings such as a pickle of some sort–just missing a little something. We would be back to try something else and I hope he expands his middle-eastern fare.

He is an absolute sweetheart – very committed to giving delicious food to the customer and you can tell he cares just by the way he plates and organizes it in the take out container. Meat is juicy, well seasoned. Veggies are fresh. Very highly recommend a visit here!

Mannn I loved their food! Made a quick stop off of I-40 on the way home from Smoky Mountains and so glad we found this halal gem. We had the Iraqi shawarma, cheesesteak, and chicken burger and loved all three. Food tasted great and didn’t feel too heavy or greasy. Thank you Ali!
