So Good It’s Illegal. (MediChef Brittany)
I went mostly for the old servers with the old owner. The food was okay. Enough to keep coming. But over time just became bland. They use bacon bits in their skillets and that to me just doesn’t add up. I’m just looking for the real meat. I have had great service. Except for a couple times. The one thing I’d recommend is changing the plates. They are falling apart and chipped to the point there’s just about three chopped items on a table for two people for a breakfast. Not health code friendly. The owners also won’t allow a replacement for my toast when I’ve been a regular for far too long. I’m gluten intolerant and you’d think they would. But instead I was just reminded that I can just say no toast. When asking one of the owners myself.

Love this spot. The food is always amazing. Pancakes are some of the best I’ve had so far. I’ve had the Lemon and Nutella, and they are both delicious. On top of the food being really good the staff is wonderful. Super friendly. I highly recommend this spot!

I had an appointment in the area and wanted something quick to eat. I googled places near by and this place came up. From the moment I walked in everyone was so nice and attentive. The place was so cozy and cute. I had the crab Benedict and I have to say I’m addicted! I LOVED IT! I truly enjoyed my experience and I will definitely be going back!

First time in Michigan at our daughter’s new home in the area. This restaurant was discovered by her in-laws. Pleasantly surprised at the bright, clean environment. Selection was expansive for a small diner and quality of food was very good. Waitstaff very friendly and quick with coffee refills! Highly recommend this diner!

Absolutely love it here. As a Berkley resident I love coming to this quaint spot, that has absolutely delicious breakfast! I never get tired of the omelette and sweeter options like French toast and pancakes – they’re sooo good. Also love the Greek salad! Always have wonderful service with smile, too!

Such a hidden gem! My food was incredible and the service was amazing! The new owners even did a walk through the dining area and were so friendly! All around wonderful experience! We got a chance to talk to the chef and learned that the biscuits are made fresh each morning and that real time is put into the gravy, no quick mix here! The time and care put into the food isn’t just reserved for the biscuits and gravy, I have yet to have a meal there I didn’t love!
