I really like this cozy place. Its still got some general work to complete it looks like but its a real nice pub. The burger is pretty awesome and the chicken sandwich has great flavour. The fries are awesome and the conversation with the barkeep is pretty solid. Overall, definitely a place id go back to for lunch. I think they are open late but never had the experience.

Absolutely phenomenal bar. I’ve been looking for a more laid back establishment to drink at for a while, and I’ve finally found it at Murphy’s. Weeknights tend to be quiet, so you can hold a conversation. The drink selection is excellent, and the bartender was one of the friendliest I’ve ever met. This place has a real personality. I’ll be coming back often.

Under new management the new owner is a husband and wife team. The wife being the chief! The quality of food coming out of the kitchen has greatly improved… However, the $$$ of dinning here has increased. I recommend coming here for good food. The new Murphy Bar and Grill also makes an amazing cup of coffee…

Today was St. Patrick’s Day and despite not making a reservation and being packed wall to wall, they still found a place for us and served us the best Bangers and Mash and Shepherd’s Pie. It was so great that we ended up ordering another Banger’s and Mash to go back to our hotel. Highly recommended to anyone local or visiting. ☘️

I’ve lived in the area for 20 years and never went here. I finally stopped by when i moved across the street and I’m glad i did. They had a band playing and their food menu is something you’d find at a restaurant in town. Great food, great service, good small-town vibe. I’ll definitely be back

I work next door to this bar for six years this was the only time I tried the food. one of my coworkers told me about how good the burger was. I have to agree the burger was very juicy it’s fresh ground beef but the french fries were the thin cheap fries you have to eat 10 fries just to taste the potatoes. I may go back to try something else I just won’t order french fries

Relatively quiet bar, with older population. Great if you actually want to hear each other talk. Originally went to Black Sheep – packed with college students, music blasting. Really annoying, so I found this place instead. Got sweet potato fries and truffle fries – serving size isn’t that big.
