What a unique place. The food was good but the service staff really needs an overhaul in appearance. The white Walmart T-shirt with stains and stretched out neck along with oversized black cargo pants isn’t appropriate for staff serving food, greeting people, or whatever. If you’re charging $40 to $55 for a small steak and $35 for crab legs your staff needs to look the part. The atmosphere isn’t that of a steak house. The staff appearance and menu knowledge is that of a waffle house but the food was that of a country diner that has cooks that know what they are doing and they know how to cook. The cooks and the food they produce should be the star of the show. Worth a visit? You bet.

Driving by and saw the Rusty spur, had to try it. Good burger, fries. Daughter got a chicken sandwich that was good also. Service was a touch slow, but servers were kind. I would go back for sure.

We are from out of town and this was the best food! We ordered appetizers thinking they would be like every other restaurant small and not enough but it was the opposite the portions were huge. The burgers and chicken were awesome. Top top it off the server we had was sweet, laughted at stupid dad jokes and was the most attentive waitress we have ever had! 10 stars

Had a very good meal. The steak was done exactly as I asked. The real treat was their dessert menu. Caramel Apple Granny was one of the best apple pies I have ever eaten. It really took me by surprise. The service was fantastic and we never were without.

Food was good, however it took an extremely long time for it to come out, we had 11 people in our party, so I figured it would take longer, but not that long honestly. When the food finally arrived, 3 peoples orders were cooked wrong, mine was overcooked slightly, but I didn’t send it back due to the length of time to receive the food the first time

Had the slowroasted ribeye special with aju. One of the most decadent steaks I’ve ever tasted. Service was perfect with a warm and easy going family dining atmosphere. Wish I had taken a photo but as soon as I took one bite there was no stopping to document till the plate was empty.

This is the second time I’ve been to the Rusty Spur while visiting family in the area. Both times have been AWESOME. For me it’s the ribs. Half rack that falls off the bone. Now you can get the BBQ sauce on the ribs themselves or on the side. Either way? You’ll need extra napkins. Also tried the Granny Apple Pie with sourdough crust. It is to DIE for.
