I did not eat at this location but at your spot with folklore brewery and meadery. The ladies at the register were very friendly. I ordered your homemade shrimp etouffee and it was so delicious! It was perfectly seasoned and did not need anything extra. So creamy and lots of shrimps! So delicious. I’ll be back next time I’m in town!

Delicious Cajun, friendly service. The soup and sandwich combo is great for lunch.

I was excited to try this place at Folklore Brewery when we went with a group of friends this past Friday night at 6:30pm. There were 20 of us total, 10 adults and 10 kids. I had looked online to check their menu and had planned what I would order then we got there and was told they have a limited menu while at Folklore. Which was a bummer. So I ended up ordering 2 chicken tenders baskets and the carnival fries with Gumbo just before 7pm. We weren’t told a wait time for our food but I assumed maybe 20-30 min since it wasn’t that busy, we were handed a buzzer. We were the last of our friends to order. It took OVER 2 HOURS to get our food! My kids were starving and luckily Folklore had some popcorn we were able to give the kids. My husband checked in on our order and was told they were running behind. After 2 hours when I was ready to just get a refund, my husband went to the window and magically our food was ready…it was cold. Pretty sure it had been sitting out for a while. My husband chose to just take the food since we were all so hungry. We weren’t given an apology or offered a discount for the ridiculous wait time. The only thing worth eating IMO were the beignets. We def won’t be eating there again.

Service was awful. My wife ordered over priced cheese and grits and they put a piece of American cheese between 2 scoops of gritsand didn’t bother heating it up. The overpriced coffee was way too sweet and the server admitted making it wrong but didn’t attempt making it right. I have given this place several tries cause I thought it was cute but never again

The food is always great as are the drinks and the service! The Shrimp Po’ Boy and the Oyster Po’ Boy sure look good, but I’m allergic. It’s all good though because that Fried Green Tomato BLT Po’ Boy is utterly scrumptious!

I don’t see how this place has such a high rating. The food is expensive and you get very little for the money and it has no favor. I ordered mainly for the red beans and rice and I also ordered a sandwich. A red beans and rice kit from Walmart is much better. The sandwich on the other hand had no favor but for the over kill in spicy mustard. My dog wouldn’t even eat it. There are so many more places in Dothan to get a good sandwich. Don’t waste your money here.

This place is a joke. Time after time, I give them a chance, and they have no hope. Blue Moon Cafe is completely unorganized and unsanitary. The service is awful and deceptive, constantly. The owner and establishment is a lost cause overall. Don’t waste your time by giving them a chance. They are incapable of change and improvement. Blue moon cafe is a disaster and completely let’s down their customers. They don’t even deserve a one star rating. It’s pathetic.

I’ve been here a few times, both as a customer and a performer, and it’s amazing! It’s an intimate little place with great food/drinks/service. Janna, the owner, is so kind and personable! Definitely a gem in this area. Check it out!

Awful! Went on a Friday night and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. It took almost two hours to get our food! When we finally got our food it was cold. After telling the waitress, she says that she will go warm it up herself in the microwave! The worst restaurant experience. I definitely do not recommend!
