Went here for restaurant week and they offered a phenomenal deal: 3 courses for $25. Pictured is the churro dessert which was delicious. Queso and chicken wings appetizers were good. Carnitas and fajitas were also good. Rice was a bit bland. Service was a bit slow at times. Overall a pleasant expert and a great value.

The food is fantastic. Ask for the guacamole bowl because it’s delicious. This portion of the country (read: Bergen County) is sorely lacking in good tex Mex and this place fills that role nicely. Just go!

Leon should really be called bait and switch. Came here on a Friday for some lunch at around 12:30pm. We were the only two people in the entire place. We were seated and given a dinner menu. I asked the waiter for the lunch menu. After some story that he has to ask the kitchen, the waiter came back and said they don’t have the lunch menu because they are switching stuff in the kitchen and this is all they can do. Excuse me? You cannot do a lunch menu which BTW is usually a reduced choice and price dinner menu but you can do the full menu? Yea sure I believe you. Keep in mind, there is a huge NEW sign in the window that says Lunch $8-$12. I’ve attached a picture to this review.

My first venture into Mexican food! I think I’m a fan. I’ve never had Mexican Food before, so I decided that I might as well stop here and give it a try. Leon Mexican Cuisine is a nice little restaurant with a touch of personality. From when we were seated to when the food was brought to our table, we were given the proper treatment. We didn’t feel like we were customers, we felt like we were part of the family that ran this place. As for the food itself – it was great. I had chicken and it was cooked perfect. I couldn’t ask for it to be cooked for any other way. The pricing seems appropriate for the place. This even seems like a kids place – there’s always kids around. Lovely place.
