Yes, it’s a bit of a drive out of Cedar City (about 10 miles but an easy drive) but the food was good, reasonably priced, it’s kept clean and the staff were all pleased!! It was chilly this evening but on a nice afternoon or evening there is a large outdoor area. “Cowboy Kitchen” fits as just behind the restaurant is a hay barn and it is out in the country.

Cowboy Poutine was good and a huge portion as it should have been for the price. I enjoyed having left overs. My SO ordered the chicken fried steak and said he thought it was cooked from frozen. He cleaned his plate though. I’d skip the mac and cheese. There are probably better sides.

We had a really good experience here a year ago and were excited to come back. We were told by the waitress that the steaks were really good so we ordered the cowboy steak or something like that. Boy were we disappointed. The steak was full of fat and tough. We ended up leaving a big pile of fat and unchewable meat on our plates. The cornbread and salad were both good but the baked potato was very small and quite dry. You could pay extra to have it loaded which may have helped the flavor but not the size. Overall quite disappointing and not worth the drive out there this time.

My family and I visited Cedar City from South Florida and read good reviews about Bowman’s. We were a little wary about the location as it is out of the city and kind of remote. We are very glad we went though! Everyone was very welcoming from the moment we walked in. The cornbread was the best we have had and the food was delicious. Our waitress, Emily, was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Bowman’s!

I am STUNNED! Absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I made a split second decision to come here and it has become one of our favorites. The staff was phenomenal and we have not stopped raving over how this food tastes and how good we feel. Everything was so fresh and I’m hooked. 100% becoming a regular even if we have to trek the hour from hurricane.

If you are reading this just know this. If you’ve never been here just go now, so worth the visit.. Amazing owners who are beyond generous with not only the food but hospitality. I showed up on an evening they were closed yet Kay and Spencer still fed me as I I was family. Friendly staff, GREAT food, table board games like battleship and outside games like corn hole.

Short drive out of town, fast friendly service & good food. My husband’s Chicken fried steak was tasty, even without gravy. Mini corn muffins were sweet & dinner salad was good too; FYI, comes with a creamy dressing… waitress didn’t offer other choices & I didn’t think to ask. The steak with the Aioli sauce sounded good so I ordered it, but I guess I’m not necessarily a fan of Aioli sauce on steak … should have asked for it on the side. We each had Peach Cobbler, but probably could have (should have) shared . Outdoor seating when weather permits ️ Entrance is towards the back of the building.

The French dip here is one of my favorites! The meat cuts are always good cuts. Rarely any fat or bad slices. They also don’t skimp on the meat. Very delicious. We also LOVE their hickory fries. They are HEAVENLY. Get them if you can. Love the owners and waitstaff as well. Its always a good time at bowmans
