The staff are friendly, the place is clean, and the service is fast. But the food very much lacks any flavor. The attached photo of the rights and beans should say enough. The rice is probably instant rice and the beans right from the can with no treatment. The tacos were all very bland. Luckily, they didn’t overcook the lamb, but it was very bland. The carnitas and Al pastor were super dry and bland. The only thing worth eating is the fish taco. Sadly, won’t be coming back.

What a hidden gem this place turned out to be! Tony knows his stuff and has passion for cooking amazing, authentic, and fresh food. He had me try smoke Brisket that he cooked/smoked for 15 hours with yucca fries and homemade sauces – WOW!!! Definitely coming back to try Tacos and different meat options very soon

Stopped here a few weeks ago for dinner. We got it to go and went to a nearby park to enjoy. Unfortunately it was really lacking. Tacos were bland. Something weird was in my Al pastor. Tamales were so flavorless. Loaded tamale also so flavorless. Salsas were good. Not sure if it was an off day or if other reviews aren’t accurate? We were bummed and had higher hopes since reviews are so good. Definitely a waste of money. We got an array of food and nothing was really great (or good). Two stars because the staff was kind and food was packaged well. I hate to leave bad reviews to small restaurants but I felt like I needed to so others know what they might be getting.

Best kept secret in Glenview, I’m so happy I found this place, great service and even better food. Excellent tacos, such authentic flavors cooked to perfection, the lamb taco and steak taco are a must try. Yuca fries are so delicious I recommend to order 2. I will definitely be coming back

Been here a handful of times cuz it’s a convenient place to grab lunch during the workday. $8 lunch special is hard to beat. Sure the food could be seasoned a bit more but hey, $8, plus the habanero sauce puts in a lot of work.

Very cute place. They have many options that I want to go back and try to see if it improve my opinion. I got a take out and the owner or the person took my order was great. He was friendly and helpful. The place is small, clean and cute. Out of the three tacos we got two were great and one was a miss. But they have many more options that I will go back before final judgment. Their cuisine is Mexican/Ecuadorian fusion.

I really liked my tacos. However, no Coke or Pepsi options. They carry a brand that I’ve never heard of, only root beer kind of drinks. UGH

Riobamba is by far my favorite go to for tacos. The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and super helpful in making great menu decisions. My family loves to choose a variety of meats for our tacos, which is great because then we can have it all. The authentic sauces are amazing! My personal favorite is the Chimichurri sauce :). The avocado salad and the yucca fries are also a must! So good! My kids also are big fans of the chips, cheese sauce, and guacamole. We’re so glad that Riobamba is near, and we will definitely be back soon! Continue doing great things Tony and staff!
