This place smells so good! The chef was tending the smoker when we arrived, and I’m from the south, so I was excited to try his southern style BBQ. We got the 1 pound brisket plate to take home and it ended up feeding multiple people. The meat was very tender and had a delicious tangy and smoky flavor. The beans and cabbage on the side were also very good. We are from out of town so only got to try it once. I wish they had a truck near me in California!

Listen, I know visitors don’t usually crave BBQ when they go on an island vacation, but I am telling you that you HAVE to eat here while on Maui. I’m originally from Kansas City, so I know good BBQ, and am quite biased. I am telling you this is the REAL DEAL amazing. We ended up eating here twice. The ribs were fall off the bone, sauce is well balanced, and the Mac N Cheese is some of the best I’ve ever tried! The BBQ beans are unique as they are sweet but also have a hint of a chili taste too. Yum! Additionally, the chef/owner who helped us both times is one of the nicest guys around. He was incredibly helpful and sweet. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. Don’t walk, RUN to get some of this deliciousness.

The gentleman who was providing the service was very polite and informative. Helped me make my selection. Even let me tasted the different sauces to help me decide. He gave me a mini tour of the smoker which is the key to the delicious food. When he talked me they smoked the brisket for 24 hours, I had to add the brisket to my order — which was the jerk chicken. Very flavorful, smokey like I love it. Both delicious. Was so happy to have tasty BBQ on the island. And the fried rice was bomb too. Full of flavor. Definitely give it a try.

Food was excellent! I’m not sure what wood was used for smoking the meat but it was very good. Good portions and Curtis was very friendly. This is a food truck with some outdoor covered seating areas. This is a close to southern BBQ as we found anywhere on Maui. Hawaiian BBQ and mainland BBQ are not even remotely comparable. Two entirely different cultures. Highly recommend.

Was out of ribs, but the baked beans and Mac and cheese was amazing! Baked beans has some meat in it and nice bbq taste! Definitely one of the top Mac and cheeses I’ve ever had! Sooo cheesy! And has that bbq taste to it. Not bbq sauce but a taste I can’t put my finger on, but there’s no other Mac and cheese that would go as good with your bbq meal! Gotta try it!!! Can’t wait to try ribs!
