It was early on a sunday night, and the bar was almost empty. I had the chicken tenders. They were moist and very tasty. I forgot to take a picture. I also had a Malibu and sparkling water. The bartender was friendly.

Very aesthetic, sweet establishment! Perfectly situated not too far out of Newport, but out far enough to be less busy/not overcrowded with tourists. The staff even brewed coffee for me at 8pm (much appreciated)!

This is a $16 gluten-free, extra cheese pizza??? It was cold. It was awful. It was tiny. A frozen pizza may actually have been better. As a matter of fact, I think this was a frozen pizza? We live practically across the street and this was the first time we’ve tried the place… and the last.

The Parlor Bar & Kitchen located at 200 Broadway Newport RI. The restaurant and bar is always packed. They have live bands performing and the vibe is always good. Great place for date night too. The food is also great. From Artisan cheese to Tortilla Soup, Cajun salmon blt. The beer on keg is plentiful. Be sure to try our local beers. The Parlor is beautifully decorated the atmosphere and ambiance makes this a fun place. Be sure to try the bloody Mary.

I was so disappointed last night. And I really wanted to go to this restaurant. Okay for starters, I made reservations 2days prior. But when we arrived a group before us, without a reservation was seated. Then when, he realizes we have a reservation, he scrambles to get a table. He sits us right in front of the door! It was cold last night and Everytime the door opened, we got blasted with cold my husband couldn’t even take his jacket off. Now let’s get to the food. So I specifically came for the steak with chirimochi however you spell it. And that was disappointing! First of all I was expecting the real thing, not some cream sauce, the steak was tough and burnt. If it wasn’t for that, it would be tasteless. The potato was flavorless. The lumpia wasn’t too bad, but didn’t like the sauce. The only thing that was good was the Cajun chicken and fries! I would definitely get those again.
