19 Raw restaurant goes into NEVER AGAIN category! Food poisoning, probably from the Clam Chowder that was loaded with old fried bacon. My second day staying at the house. Total disaster! Uncut Caesar Salad. They might as well bring the salad in a bucket. Our Lobster Tails were drenched in 2 inches of oil with something burnt to crisp on the bottom. I think it was potatoes but we could not tell, with all that oil. We just let is sit on the bottom. Strangely enough, they do not serve Coffee or Tea. It was just that simple – NO COFFEE or TEA!! The service person suggested to have a chocolate cake that we ordered for a 6-year old with ‘one of their great cocktails’. When I pointed at the child, she came to her senses and said “Oh yes, I see” and offered more water.

Every one of our party of 7 had nothing but a stellar lunch here. Frank and staff were superb hosts. “One of top three lunches of my entire (66-year-long) life!” From the apps to the mains, every dish was fresh, well presented, and flavorful with always the perfect balance of palette inputs. This place has it all figured out! We couldn’t believe how good everything was – the usual menu options but everything just a bit better than “the usual” – like caviar on the tuna tartare, a rich, wish-I-could-drink-it mussels base, some of the cleanest oysters I’ve ever had, and a lobster bolognese we ate EVERY bite of. This place is better than anything else in town!

We had a lovely meal here today. After calling the Atlantic (our former favorite), they had said on the phone we could eat outside but we arrived there only to be told the outside was closed. So we went to 19 Raw instead and were treated well by all the servers and had a great meal. We ordered the cauliflower, the octopus, the spinach, and the fries. I think this will become our new favorite!

Great service, a variety of drink options and fresh oysters! I recommend to try their local oysters, clams and their watermelon froze. It is locates in downtown and there is a bike and car park in the back.

We went to 19 raw as tourists having never tried oysters before. Our server was very helpful with recommendations and the oysters were delicious. The scallop bowl was just perfect. The rice was so flavorful and the scallops were perfectly cooked. Espresso martini is to die for.

WOW. We were greeted by 4 servers, seated immediately and had our food quickly and it was DELICIOUS. The steak and eggs special for Sunday brunch was incredible, that mint chimichurri! The lobster salad was delicious and fresh. The atmosphere was so laid back and lovely. Our server was Robert, he was super friendly and attentive and helped with menu choices. Highly recommend!!
