Nice, simple, low-priced diner. The staff is friendly, the menu is standard diner fare, the portions are large and the pricesarea bargain. My only complaint was the available seating. We didn’t have to wait but there wasn’t much square footage. Almost too cozy. If I lived in Granbury, I’d come here frequently at their slower times to not feel so cramped.

Nice little place, service was wonderful and friendly. The food was ok, good portion! Pancake was huge. I had eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancake. May be next time I’ll try something different. The local seem to like it, it was busy.

This place is wonderful. The staff is so friendly and is not overbearing like in your bigger restaurants. It is small. I think there are only 18 tables all together. The place is clean, beautifully decorated, and quiet. Just like you would find in any small town. Just bring cash, they do not accept cards. The food is deeeelious and you will not walk away hungry. Loved it!

First and likely the only time I’ll ever write a review because even if I have bad service I understand that it may not reflect on the restaurant regularly and wouldn’t want to negatively impact the restaurant or owners, that being said when I walked in the waitstaff allowed me to stand at the entry without directing me that I could sit anywhere ( not a big deal) I eventually sat down and ordered a omelet, when I got my food I realized all the ingredients were from a can such as pickled jalapeños and canned mushrooms. Then as I started eating I found a black hair but I pulled it off and ate from a different part of the omelet until I found another silver hair. At this point I was done eating as a result so I went to pay (I did not mention the hairs in my food as I didn’t want to make waves). This lead me to discover that they only accepted cash and they informed me that they have an atm, I told them I would come back to pay because I didn’t want to be forced to pay a high atm fee out of principle. Luckily I had my checkbook in my truck from the previous day. Cash only was not posted anywhere on the doors and was only visible on the menus cover page at the bottom (who reads the cover of a menu) and it was posted at the cashier at the back of the restaurant away from where you walk in and was not easily noticed. Again I never write reviews but I’ll never go back as a result of the combination of these events

My husband and I had breakfast! He had biscuits and gravy! The biscuits were homemade and fluffy! I had the eggs and ham special! Everything was so delicious! Definitely worth a try! We will be back!

This was well worth the stop! Just passing through town but so glad I found this place. Cheap prices but good home cooked food. Extremely fast service and a real home town family feel. 10/10 I would recommend!!!

The service was great. Nice, friendly wait staff. Can’t beat the prices. I ate the two egg breakfast with toast,hashbrowns, coffee, and a side order of grits. My daughter ate the chicken strips. She enjoyed them well enough. My breakfast was good except for the grits. The grits tasted like what I imagine drywall plaster tastes like. No amount of salt, pepper, or butter was able to fix it. BUT, that being said, we would definitely eat there again on our next outing to Granbury. Just won’t order the grits next time.
